Vienna police prompt in response

On June 19, 2014, my wife and I were leaving town to attend the West Virginia State Folk in Glenville. As we were leaving our residence in Vienna we were setting our alarm system and mistakenly pushed the panic button on the alarm. Within seconds the alarm company called to check on us; we informed them it was a mistake and all was OK.

As per protocol, the company wanted to know our password, however we could not recall the password. After numerous questions the company was confident we were OK and reset the alarm. Within minutes the Vienna Police Department had responded with not one, but two, police units to our residence to assure we were OK.

The City of Vienna and its citizens are most fortunate to have such a dedicated and responsive police department.

My wife and I thank the Vienna Police for its prompt response of our mistake.
