Point Park needs benches
In a recent issue of your paper, an extra section was devoted to county parks. I would like to see some emphasis applied to city parks – in particular Point Park.
I often drive through hoping to see some benches where I can sit to enjoy the nice weather, the water, watching people fish, reading a book, or taking a short walk – all of which I cannot do while sitting in my car. Even the gazebo does not have benches, which renders it an absolutely useless structure.
Do you think something could be done about this deplorable situation? And if not, why not?
