Find better energy methods

Responding to the letter to the editor sent by Margaret Meeker on Feb. 2, I would love for the people of West Virginia and the country to be able to see the areas of West Virginia with no potable water, and who carry water, or have to get water piped in from other areas – as Margaret mentioned was the case for the large area around Charleston.

And her comment about removing a mountain for a few hours of electricity and providing a few hours work for a few coal workers rang so true. We must put efforts into research and use all the less destructive methods of providing energy in the meanwhile.
