Support local shelter

Everyone has seen the television commercials for the HSUS: Humane Society of the United States, and for just $20 a month they will send you a duffel bag and a jacket, plus they take care of the dogs and cats at your local shelter. Not really, the HSUS is a group with specific goals they want to achieve, and Fluffy at the shelter isn’t on their agenda.

The HSUS takes on their battle in a sublime way, recently they got the California legislature to ban lead shot in California hunting, not a horrible thing, but it is the “first thread” of binding everyones hands. The first thread is how I feel they work; for example: If someone asked you to put your hands together, and they tied them with a single thread, who cares if no effort is required to free yourself, even two threads, still no big deal, before you know it you are bound with a thousand threads, and no hope for escape is seen.

The HSUS is for animal protection, to the extremest level. In an interview about “Blood Ties” Wayne Pacelle has an ultimate goal of eliminating hunting, fishing and even having pets, but the approach is slow, one thread at a time. Now I don’t advocate any negative action against the HSUS, other than fiscal attrition, I think all the people who watch their commercials and feel the urge to donate, ,onate to your local shelters, and stop the flow of money to HSUS, Oh, I believe when I checked their 209 form ( the nonprofit) tax form, it indicated, I hope I am correct $500,000,000 more or less from public support, that is a half a billion dollars.

Please support your local shelters. Oh, and if you think about it, and the HSUS get their ultimate goal, people will vanish from the earth, because the unchecked deer populations, wild hog populations, and predators populations, go rampant, agriculture will suffer more and more, famine will follow and millions will die. The methane increase from the unchecked bovine population will accelerate global warming. OK enough panic, seriously investigate charities before you give blindly. If Wayne Pacelle reads Genisis 9:3 “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.”
