Vote! Make a difference at the polls

If you have not already done so, and are a registered voter, get out to the polling places and make a difference today, folks.

Whether you believe your city, county, school district, state and country are doing very well, or doing very badly, get out and vote.

Today’s primary election will set up a November fight for some races — and carefully choosing your party’s candidate for that contest is certainly important. But it will be the final decision on some other matters. This is no insignificant election day to be skipped over in favor of the big day in the fall.

Bear in mind the very recent evidence that polls, analysis and the guesswork of “experts” beforehand mean nothing when the results of an election are tallied. Do not assume the races about which you are concerned are a foregone conclusion.

There is much at stake, in contests for which a single vote could very well make the difference. Remember, Mid-Ohio Valley residents have seen before the difference only four voters could make to a candidate.

Do not stay at home and let someone else make the decision for you.
