Benjamin Joseph Dulaney gained his wings comfortably at his home on June 10, 2019. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on August 27, 2005.
Benjamin was born with Sanfilippo Syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder commonly referred to as “Childhood Alzheimer’s”. His disorder may have shortened his life but the joy and happiness that radiated from him will be forever remembered to those of us lucky enough to have known him.
Benjamin loved shooting basketball, singing Sunday School songs, and enjoying time with friends and family. Benjamin could light up a room with his smile and inviting personality.
Benjamin loved his family deeply and is survived by his Father & Stepmother Timothy and Rachel Dulaney. His Mother & Stepfather Elaine Dulaney and Kyle Blackwell. Brothers Noah & Owen Dulaney. Stepbrothers Cole Smith & Austyn Blackwell. Paternal Grandparents Glenn & Cindy Dulaney. Maternal Grandparents Edward & Pamela Enoch. Aunts and Uncles Katelynn & Wesley Dulaney, Zach Enoch, Heather Spaur, and Valerie Cain. Great Grandparents Frank & Helen Baker and Alice & Alvin Kyer. Great Great Grandparent Hayward Hudkins. Also, many cousins and other family.
Funeral services will be Sunday 2 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
