Rev. Wendell G. Stutler

Reverend Wendell G. Stutler, 92 of Vienna, WV died on May 18, 2018 at the Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. He was born October 23, 1925 and was the son of the late Benson Guy Sr. and Amy Duskey Stutler. He retired from the West Ohio Conference as a United Methodist Church Minister. He had served the Eureka, Syacuse, Ironton, Nelsonville, Williamsport, Gratiot, and Continental charges. Following his retirement he continued to serve various other appointments until he was 85 years old. He had been a VFW member and a member of the Lions Club International.

Surviviors include his three sons, Dewayne G. (Susie) Stutler of Vincent, Ohio, Timothy H. (Robin) Stutler of Mineral Wells, WV, and Kevin P. (Betsy) Stutler of Novi, Michigan. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Timothy II (Angela Mills) Stutler, Matthew (Krista) Stutler, Jarrod (Courtney) Stutler, Lindsey (Kevin) Domanico, Dillon (Julie) Stutler, his great grandchildren, Kenneth Stutler, Hannah Stutler, MacKenzie Stutler, and Penelope Domanico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 73 years, Madeline Marie Williams Stutler, a grandson, Christopher Gray Stutler, two brothers, Jack D. Stutler and Benson G. Stutler Jr. and a sister, Eva Stutler Strother.

Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Dewayne Stutler, Pastor Tim Stutler and Pastor Tim Stutler I officiating. Burial will follow in the Coolville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Post #15 of the American Legion will conduct military rites following the funeral on Tuesday.
