Marilyn Rose Taylor
Marilyn Rose Taylor, 74, of Belpre, Ohio passed away February 25, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Sarasota Memorial Hospital from complications related to her Rheumatoid Athritis.
She had been a Belpre, OH resident for 74 years before passing away. She spent the winter months at her residence in Palmetto, FL. She loved to travel, sew, make crafts, shop, gardening, watch western movies and spend time with her family. She attended Friendship Ridge Christian Fellowship Church and was a member of the Porterfield Community Association.
She leaves her loving husband, Richard Taylor, her daughters Cheryl Li (Joe) of Lakewood Ranch FL; Kelly Friar (Terry) of Chesapeake, VA; a son Warren Pidcock (Carla) of Little Hocking, OH. Her grandchildren, Stephanie Moss, Joey Li, Nachelle Pidcock, Olivia and Cruz Arreola, Emily and Caitlyn Friar, and her great grandchildren Colin Corbett, Olivia Mace and Rylee Flook, her brother Dwight Blair (JoAnn), her sister-in-law Ethel Blair and her special friends, her brother-in-law Jim Taylor (Rita), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Marilyn also leaves her loving pet “Penny Sue.”
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Tracy Aragon, her sisters Judy Moore, Carolyn Mellon and her brother Rodney Blair.
Her warm smile, kindness and strong zest for life will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Dave Ellenwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
