Beverly K. Lawrentz
Beverly K. Lawrentz, 72, of Davisville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 28, 2017 at Wyngate Assisted Living.
She was born November 18,1945, in Walker, WV, daughter of the late Forest J. Stutler and Virginia Ann Newhouse Stutler.
Beverly was a devout Christian, mother and wife. She loved nothing more than feeding and clothing the homeless, supporting missionaries and helping anyone she could find to bless. She never hesitated to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone she met. Her greatest joy came from serving and meeting the needs of others.
She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey A. Lawrentz (Sandra); Andrew K. Lawrentz; and Mark A. Lawrentz (Ginger) all of Davisville. 2 grandchildren, Eliza Jane Lawrentz and Timothy M. Lawrentz also of Davisville and her sister Marilyn Westmoreland of White, GA.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Richard L. Lawrentz, her mother and father, her infant sister Bonnie Jean Stutler, and brothers Richard Stutler and Larry Stutler.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Sunday, December 3 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Jason Spade officiating. Interment will follow at Kanawha Baptist Cemetery, Walker. Visitation will be Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to services.
The family wishes to thank the Wyngate Assisted Living Staff and Amedysis Hospice for their tender loving care over the past months, as well as Gabriel Maijub, MD and his staff.
