Anna Belle Webb Craddock

Anna Belle Webb Craddock, 86, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston, West Virginia.

She was born in Clover, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Acie Nolan and Dessie Niday Webb. Anna Belle was a former switchboard operator for C & P Telephone and later was a clerk at Rite Aid Pharmacy. She was a member of the Spencer-Roane Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary where she was past president and was currently acting treasurer. She was very involved with the Girl and Boy Scouts and Spencer High School Athletic Boosters. In her younger years, Anna Belle attended the Keffer Church and in recent years attended the Spencer Church of the Nazarene and St. John’s United Methodist Church. She loved her flowers, gardening, farming, and chasing cattle but her real love was her grandchildren (two who served in the military)and great-grandchildren who she loved and adored.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela and Doug Mace of Spencer; her sons, Jeff and Katy Craddock of Kernersville, North Carolina, Greg and Pam Craddock of Evans, West Virginia, Chris and Melissa Craddock of Spencer, and Mark and Regina Craddock of Clover, West Virginia; her sisters, Nancy Conrad of Barboursville, West Virginia and Ola Mae Wright of Oldsmar, Florida; a brother, Noland L. Webb of Milton, West Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Anna Belle was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joe Allen Craddock and a grandson, Sam Craddock.

Service will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
