Denise Waderker, 63, of Little Hocking, Ohio, died at the Ohio State University following an extended illness. She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., on September 5, 1954, and was the daugther of Anna Pearl Johnson Washington of Parkersburg, and her late father Felix Isaac Washington. She was a member of the Bethel AME church in Parkersburg. She loved to cook, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survivied by her husband of 47 years, Myron Waderker Sr.; her son, Myron Waderker Jr. of Little Hocking, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kassie, Michae, Erik, Shamyra, Evin, Noah, Nyle, Zion, and Ladea; her great grandchildren, Marshawn, Braelyn and Amiyah. Also surviving her are her brothers, Mar, Mack and Victor; her sisters, Becky, Sheila, and Mickey; and several nieces and nephews. Her mother, Anna, also survives her.
Services will be on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. till time of services. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery.
