Larry Wayne Mincks, 65 of Williamstown, met his Lord and Savior May 22, 2017. He passed away at the James Cancer Center on the Ohio State University Medical Campus. Larry was born November 26, 1951 in Marietta, OH, a son of the late Clayton W. and Mary Lou (Drumm) Mincks.

Larry was a retired with 32 years of service with DuPont. He was a mechanic. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church where he served as Trustee, was on the Missions team and sang in the choir. He will always be thought of as a humble man, who based his life on Faith.

Larry was active in Tee Ball, Little League and Softball in the Williamstown area while his kids were growing up. He, himself was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing. He volunteered for the Williamstown Food Pantry and the Community Lunch program.

Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie Ann (Barnes) Mincks, son Jason Mincks (Briana) of Parkersburg, daughter Andrea Mincks of Monroeville, PA, sister Janet Snyder (Richard) of Dublin, OH, brother Gary Mincks (Janet) of Devola, OH, two grandchildren: Maya and Rogan Mincks, his faithful companion Pebbles and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday 1PM at the Crossroads United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Art Tucker officiating. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg and one hour prior to services at the church. In following Larry’s wishes, cremation will follow after the service.
