Lisa M. Hupp Bell

Lisa M. Hupp Bell

Lisa M. Hupp Bell, 52, of Vienna passed away April 17, 2017.

She was born in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Dorothy M. Conley Hupp and Dale L. and Patricia L. Hupp.

Lisa was noted for her infectious, hearty laugh, as well as her quick wit and love of sarcasm. She acquired many friends over the years. Lisa was known as a loyal and caring friend, always generous with her time. One of her greatest joys was cooking, especially for her family and friends, often gifting her favorite dishes that everyone loved.

She was a strong advocate for animals and took exceptional care of her dogs, Luka, Sophie and Lola.

In recent years she became an avid football fan, giving all her attention and favoritism to WVU and the Pittsburgh Steelers.,

She was a long-time employee of the North End Tavern and Brewery and was there to see all the renovations that occurred there. More recently, she was employed by CVS working at different locations until she was unable to work due to her health.

Lisa was cared for by Dr. Cawley and the staff at the Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre. There are not enough words to express the gratitude we feel for the care given to her there. They treat the person, not just the disease. Lisa was treated with respect, love and understanding and was very fond of the doctors and the staff there.

She is survived by her son, James M. Vandergrift of Vienna; sisters G. Michaela Jones (Jeff) of South Carolina and Pamela A. Berry (Ross) of North Carolina; brothers Raymond Hupp of Florida, Allen Hupp (Vickie) of Parkersburg, David Posey (Lori) of Belpre and Dale Hupp II of Belpre, Michael W Hupp of Wisconson, Mark Hupp of Georgia, Patrick Hupp of Ohio, Jim Posey of WV and Alan Posey of WV; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale L. Hupp, Dorothy M. Conley Hupp and Patricia Hupp as well as an infant sister.

A celebration of life memorial service and a graveside service is planned for a later date.
