Regina Burdette

Regina Burdette

Regina Burdette of Parkersburg went to be with her heavenly father on February 17, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 17, 1927, to the late Mary Dixon Ruble and James Lawrence Ruble.

Regina graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1946. She worked at Younkers Manufacturing Company as an artist for children’s clothing. She also worked as a hostess at Bennie’s Waffle Iron and Jimbo’s Family Restaurant for many years. She owned and operated Centerstage Boutique selling dance wear at Kelly’s School of Dance owned by her daughter. She also loved volunteering at Camden Clark Hospital.

Regina never met a stranger and freely gave compliments to everyone. She had a beautiful heart and soul and left a special impression on everyone. She liked to make a late appearance everywhere she went and would light up the room with her smile. She was willing to help anyone in need, people and animals alike.

Regina loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and took advantage of every opportunity to enjoy time with them.

She was a proud member of the City Soul Ministries.
