John Edward Nesselroad, 63, of Parkersburg, passed away July 6, 2014, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ira H. Nesselroad and Goldie Marie Fleak Nesselroad.
John had retired from DuPont and was a former employee of Diamond Glass. He was a member of the Eagles Club, was an avid PSHS Fan and enjoyed riding horses.
Surviving is his brother, Joe (Debbie) Nesselroad of Washington, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews including, J.T. (Cassie) Nesselroad, Kelley Nesselroad and Erica Nesselroad; and a special aunt, Hilda Ruth Terrell of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James F. “Jim” Nesselroad, Charles Nesselroad and William H. “Bill” Nesselroad; and sisters, Martha Irene Nesselroad and Margaret Knupp.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th Street, Parkersburg, with Pastor Dave Cumpston officiating, and burial will follow at the Wadesville Cemetery. The visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the funeral home.
