Barbara L. Campbell

Barbara L. Campbell, 67, of Big Springs, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 17, 2014, at her residence in the presence of her family after an extended illness.

She was born July 31, 1946 in Parkersburg to the late William C. and Nila Kight Osbourne. She was a graduate of Calhoun County High School, class of 1965. She was a member of the Smithville Baptist Church and loved listening to gospel music.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael “Mick” Campbell; sisters, Judy Gregory of Bristol, Tenn., and Doris Campbell (Joe) of Scott Depot, W.Va.; brother, Carl Ray Osbourne (Sandy) of Big Bend, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James R. Osbourne.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. Alfred Hickman and Chris Campbell officiating. Burial followed at the Westfall Cemetery in Smithville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Alfred Hickman and Chris Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Westfall Cemetery, Smithville. Friends may 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the services.
