Robert Wigal

Robert “Bottle” Wigal, 80, of Parkersburg, passed away Dec. 22, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.

He was born in Parkersburg, the son of the late Eber and Beulah Valentine Wharton Wigal.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Parkersburg American Legion Post 15. He had retired from the city of Parkersburg.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Curran, Hazel M. Sayre and Ruth V. Wigal, all of Parkersburg, Julia I. Williams of Davisville, and Roberta Reynolds of Georgia; his brothers, Russell Wigal of McConnelsville, Ohio, and Gary D. Wigal of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Wigal.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. today at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
