Jean Earle Parker

Jean Earle Parker, 80, of Vienna, passed away Oct. 18, 2013, at Camden Clark Hospital, Memorial Campus.

He was born Nov. 20, 1932 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Phillip and Virginia Forshey Parker.

Jean retired from B & O (CSX) Railroad as a mechanical car technician. He graduated from Parkersburg High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Jean was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vienna. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.

He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Snider (Hutchinson) Parker; two step-daughters, Sherry Osburn (Nick) of Parkersburg and Shelia Lamp (Randy) of Vienna; one son, Leslie Parker (Lisa) of Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patty Parker; one brother, Floyd Parker; and one sister, Roberta Holbert.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna.
