Janet Sue Crigger, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 6, 2013, at the Arbors of Marietta.
She was born Dec. 21, 1940 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Florence Ruble Dotson and Berl Dotson. Janet spent many years working as a pharmacy Technician and retired from this job from St. Joseph’s Hospital in 2004.
She loved bowling, football and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Eugene Crigger; two sons, Michael Jay Crigger of Parkersburg and Kevin Scott (Rachel) Crigger of Holly Springs, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Sonya Mae West Crigger; two sisters, Cora Lee Dotson Perdue of Parkersburg and Patsy Jean Dotson Evans (Stanley) Pittman of Vienna; one brother, Robert B. (Cathie) Dotson of Williamstown; five grandchildren, Amber Crigger (Diego) Rivero, Eric Crigger, Courtney and Aiden Crigger and Cole Nutter; two great-grandchildren, Donte and Albany Rivera.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglass Dotson, and a son, Robert Todd Crigger.
There will be a memorial service held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Baptist Church on Rosemar Road.
