Alice Hincka

Alice Hincka, 72, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away Oct. 18, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, after a short illness.

She was born in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Broad.

She was a 1959 Graduate of Moncks Corner South Carolina. She was very proud of her Native American Heritage, a member of the WASSAMASAW Cherokee Tribe. She owned and operated a Florist Shop in Washington, Michigan for several years. She loved being outdoors, gardening, her flowers, painting china, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Delavan (David) of Southampton, Pa.; three sons, Robert Fallis (Kathy) of Michigan, Christopher Fallis (Rachelle) of Michigan, and Kevin Fallis (Linda) of Michigan; three sisters, Cordelia Smith of Mt Zion, W.Va., Gina Oliver of Charleston, S.C., and Denise Bentz of Calhoun, W.Va.; one brother, Timothy Broad of Grantsville, W.Va.; best friend, Michael Dewaegenera of Elizabeth, W.Va.; two nephews, Joseph Oliver of Charleston, S.C. and Rocky Griggers of Ouray, Co.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by both her parents; and one brother, Malcolm Broad.

A memorial service will be Monday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m., at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, W.Va. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the service on Monday.
