Narcissus W. Mills, 86, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away June 24, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Narcissus was born April 3, 1927, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Carl Wilson and Lulu Pearl Fortney Wilson.
She was a long-time member of Elizabeth Church of Christ, loved being a homemaker and also had owned and operated Mt. Vernon Business College along with her husband, Oran. She was also a former member of the Brohard Community Club.
She is survived by her son, Gregory (Jessie) Mills of Oak Hill, Ohio; her grandchildren, Derrick and Brandon Mills, Kelly Rieser, Emily (Federico Gambina) Neymeyer, Sarah Neymeyer and Oran Lewis Wolfgrass Irwin; and great-grandchildren, Kylee Mills and David Gambina.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oran Dale Mills; her daughter, Susan Ann Mills; and eight brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg, and the funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Evangelist Eugene Conger officiating. Burial of Ashes will follow at the family’s convenience at Wolverton Cemetery in Wirt County, W.Va.
