Charlie Nesler, 70, of Arnolds Creek Road, West Union, departed this life on June 23, 2013, in Charlotte, N.C.
He was born on Sept. 13, 1942, a son of the late Edgar and Frances Davis Nesler. On Jan. 17, 1962, he married Mary Lee Knight Nesler, who survives.
Also surviving is one son, Eddie Nesler, Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Delores Kimball, West Union; two brothers, Terry Nesler, St. James City, Fla., and Clint Nesler, Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.
One infant brother, Donald Nesler; and one sister, Florence Clark, preceded him in death.
Mr. Nesler was the owner /operator of Nesler’s Well Service Inc. and Nesler’s Wells LLC for 40 years. He was a member of the West Virginia Independent Oil & Gas Association. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation Association of West Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union, on Friday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jim Messenger presiding. Interment will follow in Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
