Kenneth H. Templeton

Kenneth H. Templeton, 51, of May Ridge, husband of Tammy Boley Templeton for 30 years, passed away May 2, 2013, at his residence.

Born on March 11, 1962, in Parkersburg, W.Va., he was the son of Charles and Kay Wotring Templeton.

He was a graduate of St. Marys and studied building maintenance at the PRT. He was a 10-year U.S. Navy veteran transferring to the National Guard. He served one tour in Kuwait, two tours in Iraq, and earned two Bronze Stars. His last company to Iraq was the Kingwood Detachment out of Clarksburg. He loved his family and liked to go mudding.

Survivors other than his wife and parents include three children, Kenneth Templeton Jr., Amber Dawn (Nathan) Hardbarger and Joseph Andrew Templeton; two brothers, Pete and Jeff Templeton; two sisters, Audrey and Sandra “Babe” Templeton; mother and father-in-law, Tom and Charlotte Boley Balog; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Amanda and Pearl Templeton; grandmother, Lillian R. Wotring; grandfather, Gay Lee Wotring; uncle, Kenny Wotring; and father-in-law, Gary William Boley.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Chaplain (CPT) Joe Ward officiating. Burial will be at home on May Ridge. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
