Christopher Andrew Clark, 41, of Parkersburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 17, 1971 in Marietta, Ohio to David Lee Clark and Sharon “McFee” Clark-Smith.
Chris attended Wood County schools and graduated from Ritchie County High School class of ’89. He loved WVU MOUNTAINEERS football. He enjoyed playing golf, swimming, hunting, and spending time with his two sons.
He is survived by his two sons, Gabriel Stone Clark of Parkersburg and Simon Xavier Clark of Marietta, Ohio; one brother, David Ray Clark of Washington, D.C.; his father, David Lee Clark (Susan) of Washington, W.Va., and mother, Sharon “McFee” Clark-Smith of Parkersburg; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Thomas “Bill” Clark.
The funeral service will be Saturday, April 27, beginning at 1 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and prior to the service on Saturday.
