Idonia (Bunny) Suck Fox
Idonia (Bunny) Suck Fox, 91 years old, died on March 7, 2013, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield, N.C.
She was born at Silverton, W.Va., daughter of the late Theodore and Bessie Emerick Suck. She attended Jackson County Schools in Ravenswood, W.Va., and Mountain State Business College. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and a member of the church choir for 40 years, and United Methodist Women Circle #3, Ravenswood. She operated a weekday Kindergarten at the church from 1964-1972, and was later employed by the Jackson County Board of Education until her retirement in 1988.
Surviving are her six sons, Daniel Fox and wife Janet of Forest Hill, W.Va., David Fox and wife Peggy of Parkersburg, W.Va., Paul Fox of Huntington, Ind., James Fox of Fort Wayne, Ind., Joe Fox and wife Jean of Indianapolis, Ind., and Steve Fox and wife Michelle of Clayton, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Susan Fox of California; grandchildren, Scott Fox and wife Laura of Murrita, Calif., Lisa Brattain and husband Doug of Noblesville, Ind., Kathy Parker and husband Troy of Noblesville, Ind., Christopher Fox and wife Melissa of Parkersburg, W.Va., Jessica Fox and fiance Dustin Utley of Calera, Ala., Kasey Frank and husband Justin of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Noel Fox of Clayton, N.C.; step-granddaughter, Katie Roberts of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Holland and Zachary Fox of Murrita, Calif., Elizabeth and Hillary Brattain of Noblesville, Ind., Taryn, Erica and Shannon Parker of Noblesville, Ind., Noah Stewart, Jaleigha and Jeremiah Parker of Calera, Ala., and Christopher Brayden Fox of Parkersburg, W.Va.; step-great-grandchildren, Isabella and Lincoln of Roberts, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell L. Fox; son, Darrell L. Fox Jr.; sisters, Emma Nesselroade and Bernice Suck; one brother, Richard Suck; daughter-in-law, Linda Fox; and great-grandchildren, Chanel Parker and Kurt Brattain.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, with Pastor Jim Plyburn officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, W.Va., and one hour prior to service at the church Sunday.
