Francis G. McNally

Francis G. McNally, 68, of Parkersburg, W.Va., entered into eternal life March 18, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Campus.

Frank was born in Hackensack, N.J., on March 30, 1944, to the late Francis and Frances O’Donnell McNally. He grew up and spent most of his adult years in New York, where he worked as a carpenter and builder. Frank was particularly proud of the fine decks he built. He was an avid fan of the N.Y. Rangers. He was a Christian by faith.

Frank is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Charles) Flinn; brothers, Tom (Beth) McNally and Mike (Terrie) McNally; nieces and nephews, Doug, Dan and Michael McNally, John, Andrew and Brian Flinn, Amy Frances Darnold and Amy Elizabeth Stephens; several great-nieces and nephews; and his companion cat, Annie. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Naomi; and dear friends, Richie Carlson and Jimmy Robinson.

The family is grateful to the staff at St. Joseph’s Campus, especially Dr. Cramer and the nurses in the ICU who provided excellent and tender care for Frank during his last days, and to Sr. June Souder, who helped him on his journey with songs of peace and love.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Randy Vanfossen officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
