Emma Hardman

Emma Jean Hardman, 63, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away March 20, 2013, at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born June 28, 1949, in Ft. Lee, Va., a daughter of the late James Milbourn and Katheryn Inez Butler Williams. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, a 1968 graduate of St. Marys High School, and was retired from Allegheny Power after 23 years.

She is survived by her children, William O. Hardman of St. Marys, George Denny Hardman, III of Sand Fork, W.Va., Katheryn Mischelle Hardman of Glenville; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Clara Maidens of St. Marys, Ruth Reed of Marietta, Ohio, Irene Kirk of St. Marys, Diane Gillis of Fleming, Ohio, and one brother, James Williams of Marietta, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Kristen Weekley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Hardman, and one brother, Clifford Dale Butler.

Services will be held Monday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery, Hebron, W.Va.
