Barbara Sue DeWees

Barbara Sue DeWees, 69, of Belpre, Ohio, died on Feb. 15, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born in Weston, W.Va., on Nov. 9, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Willis and Tina Dennison Titus.

She had been a cook for many area restaurants, and a member of the VFW Woman’s Auxilliary in Belpre.

Survivors include her son, Kevin (Brenda) DeWees of Vincent; her daughter, Kristie (Matthew) Lamp of Belpre; three brothers, Gene, Paul (Carlena) and Ashby (Deloris) Titus; a sister, Sharon (Carl) Lucas; and her companion of 19 years, Gordon Grogan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maynard S. DeWees; and seven brothers and sisters.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. today at the funeral home, and up to service time Monday.
