* On Aug. 7, the department responded to 78 calls for service.

* Sam Womack, 27, of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 7 on a warrant for fugitive from justice.

* Eric Swihart, 33, of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 7 on a warrant for fugitive from justice.

* On Aug. 7, officers responded to Covert Street for a burglary.

* On Aug. 7, officers responded to Randolph Drive for a burglary.

* On Aug. 7, officers responded to Snow Biz on Park Center Drive for a petit larceny.

* On Aug. 7, officers responded to 17th Street for a stolen registration plate.

* On Aug. 7, officers responded to Bidwell Street for a breaking and entering.

* On Aug.7, officers investigated four motor vehicle accidents.

* Robert Holley, 41 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 8 for child neglect; Possession of a Controlled Substance and Public Intoxication.

* Donna McCormick, of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 8 for assault.

* Colt Morningstar, 22 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 8 on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance.

* Robert Stutler, 46 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 8 for battery.

* Chad Wilson, 32 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 8 on a warrant for petit larceny.

* On Aug. 8, officers responded to 42nd Street in reference to a petit larceny.

* On Aug. 8, officers responded to Astorg Auto in reference to a larceny.

* On Aug. 8., officers responded to 30th Street in reference to a destruction of property.

* On Aug. 9, officers responded to Walmart in reference to shoplifting.
