PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports July 23:

* This past weekend the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 273 calls for service.

* Noah Hitchcock, 33, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 20 on a capias for public intoxication.

* Dustin Merrill, 28, of Elizabeth, was arrested July 20 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

* Ladonna Thompson, 30, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 10 on a charge of first-offense domestic battery.

* Joseph Willis, 34, of Beckley, was arrested July 20 on a capias for grand larceny.

* Erica Kidder, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 20 on a petit larceny charge.

* Antonio Defrietas, 21, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 21 on charges of discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana less than 15 grams.

* Carl Sprout, 35, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 21 on charges of forgery and possession of a controlled substance.

* Joseph Cain, 31, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 21 on a petit larceny charge.

* Austin Skidmore, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 21 on a warrant for domestic battery.

* Elizabeth Mullins, 47, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 22 on a first-offense DUI charge.

* Jamaal Stokes, 27, of Ashland, Ky., was arrested July 22 on a warrant for driving while suspended and running a stop sign.

* Landry Smith, 32, of Walker, was arrested July 22 on charges of no insurance, no registration, improper motor vehicle inspection and driving revoked for DUI.

* On July 20, officers responded to Staunton Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering.

* On July 20, officers responded to Madison Avenue in reference to a burglary that already occurred.

* On July 20, officers responded to 13th Street in reference to a vehicle entry.

* On July 21, officers responded to Market Street in reference to a domestic battery that already occurred.

* On July 21, officers responded to 20th Street in reference to a petit larceny that already occurred.

* On July 21, officers responded to Walmart on Pike Street in reference to a shoplifting.

* On July 23, officers responded to Sheetz on Seventh Street in reference to a shoplifting.

* Between July 20-22, officers investigated six motor vehicle accidents.
