Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 20:

* John Patrick Morrison, 43, 432 New England Ridge Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on an obstruction charge and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Kaitlyn Paige Cain, 20, 5055 BIS Road SW, Lancaster, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny and obstruction and was released on $5,000 bond.

* Travis W. Boucher, 26, 5055 BIS Road SW, Lancaster, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was released on $5,000 bond.

* McKenzie Nicole Gruber, 19, 210 Palhurst Plaza, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny and possession of a controlled substance and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Tracy Lynn Hill, 38, 29 Blackwater Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of speeding and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and bond was set at $4,000.

* Tracy Dawn Boggs, 39, 1612 Hill St., Apt. 406, Belpre, was arraigned on a third-offense shoplifting charge and was released on $3,000 bond.

* Eric Marshall Leach, 56, 1626 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and bond was set at $100,000.

* Johnny Warren Turley, 38, 1336 Dillaway St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and bond was set at $50,000.

* Roy Lee Goodnight Jr., 37, 3407 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a destruction of property charge and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Kenneth Edward Bartlett, 90 Strimer Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a protective order and eight worthless check charges and was released on $10,000 bond.

* Kristen Marie Watson, 32, 147 Fort Clark Drive, Benwood, W.Va., was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and second-offense driving under suspension and was released on $6,000 bond.

* Jayland Phillip Talbot, 44, 1227 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and released on $1,000 bond.

* Paul Dexter Naylor, 56, 4092 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a protective order and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Haley Renee Turley, 18, 1336 Dillaway St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charge of possession of a controlled substance and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Robert Lee Hammond Jr., 30, 520 Sixth St., Apt. 3, St. Marys, was arraigned on charges of first-offense driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Caeleb Samuel Plants, 18, 5601 Fourth Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Crystal Kay Williams, 29, 4814 Fourth Ave., Apt. 2B, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense domestic battery, failure to render information and obstruction and was released on $3,000 bond.

* Jerome Thomas Casey Jr., 43, 202 Marie Lane, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Dillon Matthew Campbell, 19, 405 27th St., Vienna, was arraigned on an obstruction charge and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Felicia Gay Shutter, 53, 739 Scarce Fat Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a first-offense DUI charge and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Chadwick Myron Norman, 43, 100 Willowbrook Drive, Apt. 63, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI and driving under suspension and was released on $1,500 bond.

* Tonya Nicole Cunningham, 40, 3309 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension, seat belt violation and no proof of insurance and was released on $1,500 bond.

* Adam Christopher Rector, 28, 138 Viscose St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court costs.

* Steve Bradley Donaldson, 55, 2604 Pike St., Room 7, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, was sentenced to time served and assessed $335.25 in fines and court costs.

* Amber Elizabeth Smith, 36, c/o 3307 James St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving under suspension and was assessed $310.25 in fines and court costs.

* Jason Edward Pyatt, 42, P.O. Box 341, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to DUI, was sentenced to time served and was assessed $335.25 in fines and court costs.

* Justin Michael Broffman, 22, 4906 Sixth Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI and driving under suspension, was sentenced to time served and assessed $595.50 in fines and court costs.

* Jessica M. Snider, 26, 3511 12th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, was sentenced to 60 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and assessed $165.21 in court costs and restitution.

* David Ray Rice, 34, 403 Oak Wood Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court costs.

* Nikki Nicole Barber, 29, 1117 Paden St., Apt. B., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to no seat belt and was fined $25.

* Misty B. Barker, 39, 111 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to no seat belt and was fined $25.

* Dewey William Hall Jr., 43, 1593 Lone Hill Road, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension and no insurance and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Eric Hampton Stevens, 34, 51 Ridgewood Drive, Williamstown, was arranged on charges of driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Adam Curtis Wade, 36, homeless, was arraigned on a felony burglary charge and bond was set at $100,000.

* Ashlee Nicole Dugan, 18, 2005 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a possession of a controlled substance charge and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Zachery Edward Kelley, 31, 1020 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams and no proof of insurance and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Aaron James Lockhart, 23, 44 Sandlewood Drive, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Keith Allen Joy, 50, 147 Cedar Lake Drive, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving under suspension and improper registration and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Sandra Jean Eagle, 21, 912 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to expired motor vehicle inspection and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court costs.

* Marcy F. Roe, 32, 2512 24th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to no seat belt and was fined $25.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports March 20:

* On March 17, a citation was issued to Rubiel Garcia Marin, 27, of Usserey Lane, North Little Rock, Ark., on charges of no operators and improper lighting equipment.

* On March 17, Joseph Edward Holdren, 19, of 38th Street, Parkersburg, turned himself in at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on an active capias for failure to appear for a court hearing on a charge of driving under the influence. He was arraigned before a magistrate where the original bond was set at $4,000. Holdren was escorted to the Holding Center where he was confined.

* On March 18, deputies responded to Lake Washington Road in reference to disorderly subjects. The complainant reported that the subjects had been squealing their tires while driving up and down the road and thought an underage party was going on as the owners of the residence were out of town. Deputies made contact with several subjects inside the residence and could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage all throughout the residence. Citations were issued to Michael Levi Gainer, 18, of River Road, Vienna, for underage consumption, Tyler Jacob Hart, 19, of Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, for underage consumption, and Tyler Edward Mackey, 18, of Shepard Street, Vienna, for underage consumption. Citations were also issued to three 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old for underage consumption.

* On March 18, a deputy responded to DuPont Circle in reference to a report of a destruction of property. The complainant stated that he had heard a loud crash during the night and upon going to his garage this morning he discovered that the garage door was damaged. The deputy observed that the garage door had been struck from the outside with enough force to cause the door to bend inwards at the panel joint closest to the ground. At this time an investigation is ongoing.

* On March 18, a deputy responded to the Wood County Magistrate Court in reference to Jayland Phillip Talbot, 44, of Pike Street, Parkersburg, turning himself in on a warrant for domestic battery and Tracy Dawn Boggs, 39, of Hill Street, Belpre, turning herself in on a warrant for third-offense shoplifting. Talbot posted $1,000 bond and was released and Boggs posted $3,000 bond and was released.

* On March 18, a citation was issued to a 17-year-old female of Main Street, Belpre, for a seat belt violation.

* On March 18, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and the driver Cody Allan Lancaster, 21, of Mineral Park Lane, Parkersburg, was issued a citation for improper registration and no insurance. A passenger in the vehicle, Jerome Thomas Casey Jr., 43, of Marie Lane, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

* On March 18, a traffic stop was conducted and citations were issued to Bradley Clay Craig Jr., 18, of 24th Street, Parkersburg, and Trevor Wayne Dillon, 18, of Central Avenue, Parkersburg, for possession of marijuana less than 15 grams.

* On March 18, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and upon contact with the driver the deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. Felicia Gay Shaffer, 53, of Scarce Fat Road, Mineral Wells, was arrested on a charge of DUI.

* On March 19, a citation was issued to Daniel Edward Hendrickson II, 30, of Boaz Gardens, for expired registration and no insurance.

* On March 19, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and upon contact with the driver the deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Chadwick Myron Norman, 43, of Willowbrook Drive, Parkersburg, was arrested on charges of DUI and driving under suspension.

* On March 19, a traffic stop was conducted after a deputy observed the driver to be using a mobile device while operating the vehicle. While speaking with the driver the deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and when asked the driver stated a marijuana pipe was in the center console. A search of a backpack also located two marijuana grinders, a small jar of marijuana and a multi-colored pipe. A citation was issued to Colin Richard Ashner, 24, of Frederick Avenue, Sewickley, Pa., for possession of marijuana and driving while using an electronic communications device.
