Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on March 13:

* Earl Richard Wright, 24, Parkersburg, was sentenced Monday on a charge of conspiracy to commit burglary or unlawful entry of a dwelling. He was sentenced to one to five years in prison with credit for time served and was assessed court costs.

Wright was indicted Sept. 15, 2016, on two counts of burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary or unlawful entry of a dwelling. On Nov. 12, 2016, he pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge and on Jan. 3 received an alternative sentence of six months to two years at the Anthony Center. On Monday, the alternative sentence was denied and the prison sentence was handed down.

* Patrick Shaun Davis, 48, Washington, W.Va., was sentenced Monday to time served on two counts of assault, was placed on two years probation and assessed court costs.

Davis was indicted Sept. 15, 2016, on a charge of making terroristic threats and pleaded guilty Jan. 5 to an information containing two assault counts.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 13:

* Matthew Scott Moore, 25, last knonw address of 1801 1/2 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of no insurance and was released on $500 bond.

* Benjamin Andrew Stone, 36, 350 Federal Road, Little Hocking, was arraigned on a driving under the influence charge and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Michael Keith Bass, 30, 911 19th St., No. 4, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a petit larceny charge and released on $1,000 bond.

* Billy Joe Lamb, 36, 411 Crescent St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving under suspension and released on $1,500 bond.

* Robert Kevin Kerns, 52, 734 Oak Hill Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension and prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $1,500 bond.

* Grayson M. Lassiter, 21, 144 Old Ashby Ridge Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams, expired registration, failure to obey traffic control device, driving too slow, failure to obtain registration and no motor vehicle inspection and released on $500 bond.

* David Tyler McDaniel, 20, 220 Coakley Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing while DUI and released on $5,000 bond.

* Renee Ashley Yeager, 24, 1328 Silo Road, Summerville, pleaded no contest to DUI, was sentenced to time served and was assessed $335.25 in fines and court costs.

* Bert James Fleming, 1012 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery, was sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and assessed $180.25 in fines and court costs.

* Jose Luis Cruzzavala, 65, 5 Kelly Lane, Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, was sentenced to time served and assessed $335.25 in fines and court costs.

* Brodi Richard Elder, 27, 43 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of second-offense DUI and driving under suspension, was sentenced to six months home confinement on the DUI charge and three months home confinement on the suspension charge, to be served concurrently, and was assessed $420.50 in fines and court costs.

* Brian S. Moore, 41, 67 Lantern St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Jill M. Dunham, 47, 1804 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a DUI charge and released on $1,000 bond.

* Chasady Lynn Whipkey, 30, 4107 Eighth Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of false information, driving under suspension, no insurance, expired registration and driving without headlights and released on $3,000 bond.

* Kristina Marie Cottrell, 27, 3947 Charles Road, Gandeeville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Gary Wayne Andrews Jr., 23, 14 North Ritchie Ave., Apt. 16C, Ravenswood, was arraigned on charges of no insurance and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Douglas William Johnson, 27, 2319 Broad St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Edloe Laird Bryant, 75, P.O. Box 695, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of no insurance and passing in a no passing zone and released on $1,000 bond.

* Andrew Vincent Bondi, 49, 297 Greenwood Drive, Williamstown, pleaded no contest to no seat belt and was fined $25.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports March 13:

* The Parkersburg Police Department answered 364 calls for service between March 10-12.

* Christopher Stephens, 31, of Vienna, was arrested March 12 on a warrant for third-offense driving while license suspended.

* Heather Carpenter, 39, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 12 on a capias warrant for domestic battery.

* Paul Maxsween, 24, of Lewisville, N.C., was arrested March 12 on charges of first-offense driving under the influence and possession of marijuana less than 15 grams.

* Michael Bass, 29, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 11 on a warrant for petit larceny.

* Robert Adams, 32, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 11 on a warrant as a fugitive from justice.

* Mark Delancey, 56, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 10 on a domestic violence bond violation charge.

* Deanna Morris, 46, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 10 on charges of obstructing, trespassing and disorderly conduct.

* On March 11, officers responded to Juliana Street in reference to a larceny.

* On March 11, officers responded to 12th Street in reference to a burglary.

* On March 11, officers responded to Paden Street in reference to a petit larceny.

* On March 11, officers responded to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifting.

* On March 11, officers responded to Speedway and cited Shawn Sullivan for public intoxication.

* On March 10, officers responded to Speedway in reference to a shoplifting.

* On March 10, officers responded to 30th Street in reference to a destruction of property.

* On March 10, Warren Bigley reported an auto larceny.

* On March 10, officers responded to Walmart in reference to shoplifting and cited Douglas Johnson.

* Between March 10-12, officers investigated four motor vehicle accidents.

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports March 13:

* On March 9, James Allen Dragoo, 35, Parkersburg, was cited on a charge of second offense driving on a suspended license on Waverly Road.

* On March 9, Daniel Blair, 66, Parkersburg, was cited on a charge of speeding, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* On March 9, Sierra Persinger, 19, Vienna, was cited on a charge of no motor vehicle inspection on West Third Street.

* On March 9, Robert Collins, 48, Belpre, was cited on a charge of speeding, 56 mph in a 35 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* On March 9, Miguel Angel Garcia Ortiz, 33, Mason, Ohio, was cited on a charge of speeding, 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* On March 10, Rebecca Lynn Crites, 19, Parkersburg, was cited on a charge of speeding, 42 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.
