PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports on July 27:

* On July 25, Michael Lee Haught, 44, of Mike Street turned himself in at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault second degree. Haught was arraigned before a magistrate and released on a $1,000 bond.

* On July 25, Austin Jacob McClure, 20, of Hi-View Terrace turned himself in at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for unlawful taking of a vehicle. McClure was arraigned before a magistrate and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

PARKERSBURG?- The Wood County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports on July 25:

* On July 22, a citation was issued to Debra Darlene Ball, 36, of Belmont Road for passing in a no passing zone.

* On July 22, a deputy responded to Westview Way in reference to several vehicles being entered overnight. Four unlocked vehicles were entered. Missing items include prescription medication, a pair of sunglasses, a wallet and coins. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 22, a deputy responded to George’s Place Restaurant on Grand Park Drive in reference to a breaking and entering into a vehicle. The complainant reported someone used an unknown tool to break a window and remove money from inside. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 22, deputies responded to DuPont Road in reference to a two-vehicle crash with injuries. The driver and passenger in the truck were transported to Camden Clark Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle, Jason Scott O’Donnell, 35, of Seventh Avenue, was transported to Camden Clark for medical treatment then to the holding center for confinement for DUI causing personal injury and left of center.

* On July 22, a deputy responded to Westview Way in reference to another breaking and entering into a vehicle. The complainant reported a debit card had been taken from his unlocked vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 23, a deputy responded to Grand Park Drive in reference to a breaking and entering of a vehicle. The complainant reported that while he was working at the Olive Garden, someone broke out a window on his vehicle. A purse belonging to the owner’s girlfriend was taken. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 23, deputies responded to Point Drive in reference to two suspicious subjects around the store who had been there for several hours. A local check showed an active warrant for Corey Clark Corns, 26, of Beuhring Avenue, Charleston, for shoplifting issued out of a Vienna Police Department investigation. The second person, a juvenile, was released to an adult.

* On July 23, a deputy responded to Island View at DuPont Manor in reference to a two-vehicle crash. A citation was issued to Maggie Evangeline Carpenter, 52, of Derby Lane, Bogart, Ga., for a stop sign violation.

* On July 23, a deputy responded to Quick Care on 36th Street in reference to a breaking and entering of a vehicle. The complainant reported someone broke out her front passenger window and removed a purse from the floorboard and a $100 bill from the center console. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 24, Gary Collins reported someone removed his Dodge Caravan from his residence on Davisville Road. The vehicle was entered in NCIC and an alert was issued to all agencies.

* On July 24, a deputy responded to Hill Avenue in reference to a stolen license plate. The complainant reported her registration plate, along with a neighbor’s license plate had been removed from their vehicles during the night. The incident remains under investigation.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports on July 21:

* On July 20, a deputy responded to AT&T on Murdoch Avenue for a theft from a vehicle. An employee reported she parked her vehicle behind the store and another employee later advised her that the driver’s side window was broken. Items missing were two sets of outdoor lights and sunglasses.

* On July 20, a deputy responded to Greenbrier Avenue in Boaz for a destruction of property to a vehicle.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on July 22:

* On July 21, Jamicha Sean Davis, of Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, reported a larceny from her vehicle that occurred sometime overnight.

* On July 21, Marvin Bradley, of Laurel Lane, Parkersburg, reported a larceny from his unlocked vehicle which occurred sometime within the last week.

* On July 21, a deputy responded to Ninth Street in Vienna to the Buzzy Dils river lot in reference to a destruction of property report. The complainants reported that someone had cut the wires for the grill and had intentionally spilled a jug of grease allowing it to run onto the concrete pad and wooden deck. A boat that had been secured to the dock had its lines cut causing it to float out into the Ohio River until it struck a wooden post and came to rest. The investigation is ongoing.

* On July 21, Amber Buchanan reported that someone had broken out the passenger side window to her vehicle.

* On July 21, deputies responded to Marie Lane in reference to a warrant service. Paul Christopher McKee, 34, of Marie Lane, was placed under arrest for the capias issued out of Ritchie County Family Court for failure to appear for a court hearing. He was transported to the holding center and placed pending a hearing with the family court judge.

* On July 22, a deputy responded to assist Vienna Police Department with a traffic stop of an impaired driver. Upon conclusion of the traffic stop, Kristina Dawn Martin, 42, of 27th Street, Vienna, was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence.

PARKERSBURG – On July 15, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On July 13, a traffic stop was conducted where the operator of the vehicle, Austin Richard Dailey, 19, of New York Avenue was cited for failure to produce an operator’s license. The passenger, Tristan Nathaniel Lafferty, 18, of Love Hill Road, Waverly, owner of the vehicle, was cited for no MVI and no insurance.

* On July 13, a traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to Heather Nicole Burch, 31, of McGregor Street, Cairo, for driving on suspended.

* On July 14, a traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to Dalton Brant Chute, 21, of Mill Branch Road, Belpre, for no insurance.

* On July 14, Selina Marie Johnson, 31, of 32nd Street, Vienna, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting issued through the Vienna Police Department.

* On July 14, a deputy responded to Meadowview Drive for a broken window. The complainant stated she heard something in the living room and upon checking found someone threw a piece of concrete through the window. Investigation is ongoing at this time.

* On July 14, Randy Short of Left Grove Avenue, Mineral Wells, reported someone removed a 20-inch bicycle from his garage. Short said the bicycle was valued at $200.

PARKERSBURG – On July 13, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On July 8, deputies responded to Rector Road to assist the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department had been dispatched for someone burning trash and upon arrival the subject became confrontational, advising officers to get off his property. A citation was issued to Gerald Arthur Shaffer, 73, of Rector Road, Vienna, for unlawful burning.

* On July 9, a traffic stop was conducted on W.Va. 2 south of Northwood Villa. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. The driver, David Edwin Place, 75, of Brush College Road Clinton, Ill., arrested on charges of DUI, second-offense.

* On July 9, deputies responded to Winding Heights Road for a domestic dispute. Both parties were still present upon the deputies arrival, statements were obtained and an investigation conducted. Ronald Dixon Wines II, 54, of Winding Heights Road was arrested on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault.

* On July 9, deputies responded to College Parkway for a domestic dispute where one of the parties had already left. During the course of the investigation EMS was summoned who transported the victims to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital for treatment. After EMS departed for the hospital the alleged offender, Timothy Alan Ball, 48, of College Parkway returned to the scene where he was arrested on two counts of domestic battery.

* On July 9, the sheriff’s office responded to Larkmead Road in reference to a Larceny. Christopher Dailey reported that upon returning home he observed that his garage door was open, he then noticed that boxes were on the floor and a cabinet door was open. Upon cleaning up the garage he observed that several tools were missing. Case under investigation.

* On July 10, Travis Edward Johnson, 25, of Roush Ferrell Lane, Point Pleasant, was arrested on outstanding warrant for Battery issued out of Mason County. He was confined to the Holding Center pending his arraignment.

* On July 10, deputies responded to Mulberry Lane in reference to a Breaking and Entering. The complainant stated that the male came to his residence announced himself as the “sheriff’s office” then struck the sliding glass door with a pipe causing it to shatter entering the residence and began to strike the complainant in the legs and abdomen with the pipe. The complainant was able to wrestle the suspect and hold him down until deputies from the sheriff’s office arrived. Justin Michael Jones, 31, of Shay Ridge Road, New Matamoras, was arrested on charges of night time burglary.

* On July 10, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on W.Va. 50 where the vehicle had collided with the guardrail. Upon arrival deputies observed the driver to be rolling around on the ground frantically screaming and crying. Though she professed she was not injured EMS was summoned though the subject refused medical treatment. Throughout contact with the female subject the odor of an alcoholic beverage was noted coming from her person and the deputy observed several pill packets sticking out of her purse. Gladys Ann Deweese, 31, of Moats Hill Road, Cairo, W.Va., was arrested on charges of DUI.

* On July 10, deputies responded to Meadow View Drive in reference where the complainant advised that her daughter was attempting to get into the residence and demanding money. Michelle Rene Flanery, 24, of Meadowview Drive, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.

* On July 10, a citation was issued to Mary Kathryn Balderson, 37, of Marie Lane, Washington, W.Va., for expired MVI.

* On July 10, Richard Allen Bell, 42, of Marrtown Road, was arrested on outstanding warrant for battery. He was arraigned before Magistrate and released on a $1,000 bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG – On July 11, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports:

* On July 7, a citation was issued to Jackie F. Jones, 58, of Chestnut Street, Pennsboro, n a charge of speeding. Jones was traveling 74 mph in a 65 mph zone.

* On July 7, Nathaniel Page Pittman, 25, of Ranis Road, Belleville, was arrested on charges of possession with intent (Heroin) and possession with intent (Cocaine), following a traffic stop. Pittman was arraigned before a magistrate then confined in lieu of $400,000 bond. Deputies were assisted by a Vienna Police K-9 unit.

* On July 7, a deputy responded to Pine Circle in Davisville in reference to a burglary. The homeowner reported he was gone about 20 minutes and upon returning, found the door to have been broken in. Nothing appears to have been taken. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 7, Christal Gwen DePue, 49, of Neal Street, Parkersburg, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic stop.

* On July 7, Lacey Renee Waybright, 21, of Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, was arrested on a public intoxication charge and an active warrant issued out of Ohio County, W.Va., on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies responded to a call on Tonya Avenue.

* On July 8, a deputy responded to Lakewood Circle in reference to a domestic dispute. The female complainant reported she had been struck in the face, and held down by the male, who left prior to the deputy’s arrival. The female was observed to have blood coming from her right nostril, smeared blood along the right side of her mouth and redness to her cheek. Charges are pending against the male for domestic battery and domestic assault.

PARKERSBURG – On July 6, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On July 4, a citation was issued to Stephen William Gandee Jr., 38, of Sayre Avenue for no inspection sticker.

* On July 4, deputies responded to Blennerhassett Heights Road in reference to underage drinking. A citation was issued to Christopher Lance Hill, 21, of 4th Avenue for public intoxication. A citation was issued to Taylor Victoria Law, 18, of Hanvey Avenue, Belpre, for parking in the street. A citation was issued to Zackery M. Foster, 18, of Mill Street, Vincent, for underage consumption. A citation was issued to Maisha M. McCrady, 19, of 17th Street for underage consumption. A citation was issued to Nathan K. Bourgeois, 21, of Lakewood Circle for providing alcohol to underage person(s). Joseph Duane Cotton, 21, of Hawthorne Street was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

* On July 5, a deputy responded to the Broadway Avenue Campground in reference to breaking and entering of several vehicles. The complainant reported that someone removed tools from several tools boxes in the back of the victims trucks. Items taken include DeWalt battery chargers, a DeWalt grinder, a Husqavarna chop saw, DeWalt drills and several other tools. The incident remains under investigation.

* On July 5, deputies responded to South Park Villa in reference to a disturbance. Desiree Jane Malone, 26, of South Park Villa was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Malone was confined in the Holding Center pending arraignment.

PARKERSBURG -?On July 5, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports:

* On June 30, Patrick Corey Jackson, 36, of Belpre was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violation of a personal safety order following a traffic stop on Emerson Avenue. Jackson was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On June 30, a deputy responded to Mike Street in Washington to a report of a theft. The complainant reported that a Porter Cable circular saw had been stolen from his outbuilding.

* On June 30, a citation was issued to Joshua Dugan, 30, of Mineral Wells for no helmet on a passenger under 18 years old, following a traffic stop of his ATV on Stoops Road in Mineral Wells.

* On June 30, Tyler Scott Britton, 21, of Parkersburg was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on W.Va. 31 near Veterans Park. Britton was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On June 30, Tanner Rhett Gentis, 23, of Madill, Okla., was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on W.Va. 14 in Pettyville. Gentis was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 1, deputies arrested Morgan Deanne McDermitt, 21, of Mineral Wells for driving while license suspended or revoked after deputies stopped on I-77 to assist with a flat tire. McDermitt was also charged with drug violations by the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force during her arraignment on the driving charge. McDermitt was confined in the holding center in lieu of bond on the combined charges.

* On July 1, a citation was issued to Courtney Lee Smith, 30, of Elizabeth for driving while license suspended or revoked following a traffic stop on Southern Highway.

* On July 1, Charles Russell Conrad, 23, of Parkersburg was arrested on a warrant for false pretense. Conrad was arraigned before a magistrate and released on $1,000 PR bond.

* On July 1, Mark Leslie Lively, 49, of Kenna, W.Va., was arrested on a felony indictment out of Wood County Circuit Court following a traffic stop at Hickory Street and Third Avenue. Lively was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 1, John Glenn Benton, 62, of McColl, S.C., was arrested on three warrants out of magistrate court following a traffic stop on W.Va. 95. McColl was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 2, Scott Allen Harpold, 47, of Lubeck was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on W.Va. 95. Harpold was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 2, a citation was issued to Alexander Ziberman, 33, of Brooklyn, N.Y., after deputies responded to the Red Roof Inn on a 911 hang up call.

* On July 2, John David Welch II, 30, of Parkersburg was arrested for domestic battery after deputies responded to a call at Joyceville Trailer Park. Welch was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 2, John Michael Chance, 33, of North Little Rock, Ark., was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-77. Chance was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 3, a deputy responded to Marie Lane in Washington, W.Va., on a burglary call. The complainant report her Playstation 4 and $700 cash were missing from her residence.

* On July 3, a citation was issued to Brian Jason Snyder, 42, of Washington, W.Va., for driving while license suspended or revoked.

* On July 3, Laura Eloise Barker, 27, of Walker was arrested on a warrant after a deputy checked occupants of a vehicle parked near Lubeck.

* On July 3, David Wayne Painter, 28, of Marietta was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Forrest Hill Road. Painter was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.

* On July 3, a citation was issued to Janelle K. Putnam, 31, of Little Hocking for speeding. Putnam was going 85 mph in a 65 mph zone.

* On July 3, a citation was issued to Matthew D. Drake, 26, of Jefferson, Pa., for speeding, 85 mph in a 65 mph zone.

* On July 3, deputies went to 1435 30th St. on warrant service. Deputies arrested James Matthew Broyles, 31, of Parkersburg for a grand larceny warrant out of Wood County Magistrate Court and a warrant for unlawful assault out of Wyoming County Magistrate Court. Broyles was confined in the holding center in lieu of $10,000 bond.

* On July 3, citation was issued to Ryan Keith Bumgardner, 32, of Harrisville for driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI.

PARKERSBURG – On June 30, the Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 29, a citation was issued to Daniel D. Dinkeldein, 67, of Atterbury Lane, Stow, for speeding. Dinkeldein was going 62 in a 55 mph zone.

* On June 29, a citation was issued to Karen A. Clark, 59, of Cash Ridge Road, Shadyside, for speeding. Clark was going 65 in a 55 mph construction zone.

* On June 29, a citation was issued to Kenneth A. Cobb, 46, of Beech Cliff Drive, Amherst, for improper U turn and no proof of insurance.

* On June 29, a citation was issued to Diana Lynn Butcher, 59, of Slate Creek Road, Elizabeth, for speeding, 62 in a 55 mph construction zone.

* On June 29, a deputy responded to Gihon Road in reference to a storage building being broken into. The complainant found the lock was missing from his storage unit and several items missing from inside. Items include a shotgun, CDs, ammunition, tools and sleeping bags.

* On June 30, Patrick Corey Jackson, 36, of Rockland Avenue, Belpre, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violation of a personal safety order. Jackson was arraigned before a magistrate and confined in the Holding Center pending arraignment.
