MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 28:

* On Sept. 25, Samantha Lashay Runnion, 22, homeless, was arrested in the 200 block of Seventh Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 26, Justin Anthony Spillis, 26, of 8269 Crosswind Road, Jacksonville, Fla., was arrested for theft at Kmart after he stole a hoodie valued at $27.99. Spillis was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 26, Meagan Nicole Ellis, 26, of 286 Fairway Drive, Beverly, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 200 block of Front Street and was released to a sober individual.

* On Sept. 26, Randy C. Tompkins II, 27, of 286 Fairway Drive, Beverly, was arrested in the 200 block of Front Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 26, Jacob Ryan Phillis, 23, of 109 Wooster St., was arrested in the 300 block of Third Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was released on a personal recognizance bond.

* On Sept. 27, Matthew Brennan Taylor, 25, 104 Riley Drive, was arrested for domestic violence at that address and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 27, Shaun Christopher McCurdy, 30, 309 Sixth St., Beverly, was arrested at 433 Second St. for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 27, Andrew Gavin Warwick, 27, 589 Old River Road, Williamstown, was arrested in the 200 block of Washington Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was released on a personal recognizance bond.

* On Sept. 27, Zachary Doyle Duckworth, 25, 729 Second St., was arrested in the 200 block of Washington Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was released on a personal recognizance bond.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 24:

* On Sept. 23, Phillip Dale West Jr., 28, of 836 Pike St. was arrested at Wal-Mart for abusing harmful intoxicants, theft and criminal trespass after he stole a three-pack of Dust-Off air duster. West had been barred from Wal-Mart in October 2014 when he had shoplifted. Due to a previous conviction for abusing harmful intoxicants, West is facing a fifth-degree felony. West admitted huffing three cans of Dust-Off a couple of hours before going to Wal-Mart and had burns on his hands and arm to confirm his statements. West was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment and later taken to jail.,

* On Sept. 23, Ginger Kaye Ratcliffe, 43, of 206 Broughton Ave. was arrested at her home for being a fugitive from justice from the Nottoway County (Va.) Sheriff’s Office on warrants for failure to appear on two counts of grand larceny. Ratcliffe was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 23, an employee of Acuren Inspection reported a Honda 3500 generator was stolen from the rear of his truck while it was parked overnight at the Quality Inn.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 23.

* On Sept. 23, Matthew Daniel Whitstine, 24, of 209 Virginia St., was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart after he went in the store, took off his sneakers, put on a new pair, and fled the area. Whitstine was located in the 700 block of Pike Street where he approached officers with the stolen shoes in his hand and said he was sorry and that what he did was stupid. Whitstine was taken to headquarters, where he was later released on bond.

* On Sept. 23, Keith Allen Nibert, 53, of 210 1/2 Fourth St., Beverly, was arrested at Fourth and Butler Street for disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 22, Delmas Duane Thomas, 73, of 270 Barnett S. Road, Vincent, and Susan Marie Buchanan, 51, of 2012 16th St., Parkersburg, were arrested at Goodwill, 1303 Colegate Drive, for criminal trespass. Both were taken to headquarters and released on bonds.

MARIETTA- The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 21.

* On Sept. 18, Dennis Ray Oakley, 34, of 110 Browns Alley, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication at his home.

* On Sept. 19, Howard Earl Crouch, 43, of 2760 Race Track Road, St. Augustine, Fla., was arrested in the 200 block of Virginia Street for obstructing official business and being a fugitive from justice from the State of Florida. Crouch was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 19, Roger Kalter reported that someone had stretched a nylon cord across the River Trail bike path at South Fifth Street resulting in a bicyclist crashing over the handle bars of his bicycle. The cyclist was not seriously injured.

* On Sept. 20, Johnathan Michael Forney, 33, of 957 Ironwood Road, Akron, was arrested at 700 Pike Street for domestic violence, criminal trespass, drug abuse, and disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 20, Shannon Scott Hines, 27 of 501 55th St., Vienna, was arrested for obstructing official business at the Frontier Shopping Center after he gave officers a false name. Hines was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 20, Amy Leigh Davis, 30 of Rock Run Road, Coolville, was arrested at the Frontier Shopping Center for possessing a drug abuse instrument and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 20, a Front Street resident reported she observed three young boys pouring gasoline on a fence and building on a vacant lot in the 900 block of Front Street.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports Sept. 17:

* On Sept. 16, Brian Michael Pritchett, 19, and Rebecca Leeann Colvin-Mugrage, 20, both homeless, were arrested at Kroger, 40 Acme St., on charges of theft after they allegedly stole $36.16 worth of merchandise, including alcoholic beverages, waterproof tape and a Band-Aid wrap. Both were taken to jail.

* William Edward Bennett, 43, of 1200 11th Ave., Vienna, was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass at Wal-Mart after he allegedly stole $49.31 worth of merchandise, including a frozen cheeseburger, a wallet and two pair of sweatpants. Bennett was taken to jail.

* Thomas Huck of Ohio Valley Spray Foam, 917 Gilman St., reported a break-in in which hand tools, a nail gun and three GPS units were stolen.

* Angela McElfresh of 214 Ingleside Ave. reported the theft of a rear license plate.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports Sept. 14:

* On Sept. 11, Angela Jo Armstrong, 52, of 10260 Ohio 550, Vincent, Ohio, was arrested on a charge of theft at Wal-Mart after she allegedly stole items totaling $221.31. The items included beer, meat, cereal, toilet paper and clothing. Armstrong was taken to headquarters and released on bond.

* On Sept. 11, an employee of Vanguard Paints and Finishes Inc. reported someone had pried on the back door of the business.

* On Sept. 12, Michael D. Warne, 46, of 470 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct for failure to cease and desist. Warne was taken to headquarters and was released on bond.

* On Sept. 12, Logan Reese Arnold, 25, of 203 Lindsey Ave., Marietta, was arrested at 400 Muskingum Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 13, Erin Marie Stewart, 41, of 224 Caro Lane, Marietta, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and marked lanes at Muskingum Drive and Davis Avenue. Stewart was taken to headquarters where she refused to take a breath test and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 13, John Lee Moore, 21, of 502 1/2 Wooster St., Marietta, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication at 521 Fifth St. after he was found in a resident’s garage. Moore was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 13, Adam Michael Wells, 25, of 410 Columbia Ave., Williamstown, was arrested for two counts of attempted theft and D/C by intoxication after he tried to steal two golf carts from the 100-B Ohio Street. Wells was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 14, Katelynn Shinnae Smith, 22, of 901 Cisler Lane, Marietta, was cited on a charge of drug abuse in the 800 block of Glendale Road after the police canine indicated on her vehicle. Smith turned over a bag of marijuana to officers.

* On Sept. 14, Logan Richard Gould, 19, of 262 Doolin Drive, Williamstown, was cited on charges of driving under suspension and not using headlights at Glendale Road and Cisler Lane.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 16:

* Amanda Asia Wallace, 21, of 39410 Washington County 78, Lower Salem, Ohio, was arrested Sept. 15 for theft at Wal-Mart after she allegedly stole $40.72 worth of items. Wallace was later released on a personal recognizance bond.

* Anthony W. Fletcher, 29, of 128 Buells Circle, Marietta, was arrested on a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 9, an employee of Go Mart, 820 Pike St., reported a possible male shoplifter.

* On Sept. 9, Mark Carey, of 117 Dean St. reported a theft of his TV, computer and a printer from his home.

* On Sept. 9, Shane Hardie, of 105 Gilman Ave. reported his personal items were taken when he moved out of his previous residence.

* On Sept. 9, Lona King, of 623 Virginia St. reported a theft of her medication.

* On Sept. 9, Phillis Miner, of 519 Sixth St. reported someone had forged a check with her account number on it.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 9.

* On Sept. 8, Chris D. Walker, 26, of 108 Berry Lane, was arrested on municipal court warrants for theft and failure to appear and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 8, Seana Haught of Orchard Street reported receiving unwanted text messages from a person known to her. Brandon Lee Gibbs, 22, of 307 Maple St., was arrested for violating a protection, a felony of the fifth degree, and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 8, Arnie Suan of Ohio 60 reported his license plates were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 200 Putnam Ave.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department on Sept. 8 released the following reports:

* On Sept. 4, Logan Eckels of Williamstown reported he was threatened in Kris-Mar woods by a man with a sharpened stick. Eckels advised the man threatened to kill him several times. Officers located the suspect who was later taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment as it was believed he was under the influence of drugs. The victim in this case declined to pursue charges.

* On Sept. 5, Eula Rodes of 127 Ward St. reported a safe was stolen from her home since July.

* On Sept. 76, Stoked Coffee reported the business was broken into and cash was stolen.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following report on Sept. 2.

* On Sept. 1, Jeremy Michael Phipps, 36, address unknown, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving under a suspended license after he crashed the van he was driving into a pole at Speedway, 433 Second St. Phipps admitted to drinking at least a six pack and was taken to headquarters where he tested .281 percent BAC. Phipps was taken to jail after it was found that he was on parole.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports on Sept. 3.

* On Sept. 2, Thomas M. Emerick, 46, of 229 Sheldon Ave. was arrested on two municipal court warrants for receiving stolen property and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 2, Kimberly D. Bonnett, 43, of 1360 Silver Globe Road was arrested on a municipal court warrant for theft and was taken to jail.

* On Sept. 2, Corey Matthew Orr, 29, of 350 Woodlawn Ave., Cambridge, was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart after he stole a Powermate generator valued at $488. Orr was released on bond.

MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Department released the following reports Aug. 31:

* On Aug. 28, Stephen M. Six, 47, 836 Pike St., Marietta, was arrested on Marietta Municipal Court warrants for breach of recognizance and failure to appear for pretrial on an assault charge.

* On Aug. 28, Yvonne Marie Brandt, 30, 304 Maple St., Marietta, was arrested at Wal-Mart on a charge of theft after she allegedly stole a charcoal grill, a bag of charcoal, food, vodka and a 12-pack of beer valued at $42.74. Brandt was released on a personal recognizance bond.

* On Aug. 28, Cheryl Stevenson, 736 Greene St., Marietta, reported she was shoved by a female as she was leaving her apartment.

* On Aug. 29, Eric C. Edgar, 30, of 732 Second St., Marietta, was arrested on four Marietta Municipal Court warrants for misuse of a credit card, possession of stolen property, theft and driving under suspension.

* On Aug. 29, Katheryn West, of St. Marys, reported her wallet was stolen from her locked vehicle while it was parked at Wal-Mart.

* On Aug. 29, Kayla Billos, of Fifth Street, Marietta, reported her car was damaged at 100 North Seventh St., Marietta.

* On Aug. 29, Andrew Erb, 411 Fearing St., Marietta, reported his red 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen overnight. The vehicle was recovered during the same day on New Street.

* On Aug. 30, Matthew Kenneth Mickens, 41, homeless, was cited for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

* On Aug. 30, Dylan M. Tennant, 18, 407 Franklin St., was arrested at South Sixth and Charles streets for possession of a stolen car and obstructing official business. Tennant had been in a stolen vehicle at Wal-Mart and had fled when approached by officers. Tennant had stripped down to his underwear and swam across Duck Creek to avoid police. When apprehended, Tennant apologized for running and advised that he knew the car he was driving was stolen.

* On Aug. 30, Andrea Lynn Perine, 30, of 629 Fourth St., Marietta, was arrested at her home for domestic violence. The defendant’s husband advised that during an argument, she struck him in the mouth with her fist.

* Justin B. Hines, 18, 521 1/2 Seventh St., Marietta, was arrested on a Marietta Municipal Court warrant for possession of marijuana,

* On Aug. 31, Erica Dawn Westbrook, 20, 280 Hoff Road, Marietta, was arrested on charges of OVI, marked lanes and underage consumption of alcohol in the 700 block of Seventh Street in Marietta.
