PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases July 24:

* Markus Johnson, 28, 1250 Hurshes Run Road, Pennsboro, had his preliminary hearing waived on a charge of altering or changing a serial number.

* George Carpenter II, 39, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Brian Hardman, 48, 1135 Calhoun Highway, Millstone, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Sean Stephens, 43, 5527 Walker Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of driving while suspended, a third offense, and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Roy Duley Jr., 52, 3925 River Road, Lowell, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and public intoxication and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jordan Watson, 22, 693 Watson Road, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to speeding 54 in a 45 mph zone and was assessed $175.25 in court costs and fines.

* April Rogers, 41, 459 Main St., Spencer, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance within a State Correctional Facility and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Worthy Davis, 41, 614 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and public intoxication and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Michele Mayhew, 35, 1027 1/2 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of fraudulent use of an access device and was sentenced to one year of probation with six months at the day report center and was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

* Wesley Carpenter, 45, 151 Highway 24 27 East, Midland, North Carolina, was dismissed on a charge of domestic battery because the alleged victim did not appear.

* Tyler Jones, 25, 320 Dempsie Ave., Parkersburg, was dismissed on the charges of obstruction, public intoxication, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance because the state’s witnesses did not appear.

* Jakeb Bailey, 29, 2605 Core Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of burglary and two counts of conspiracy and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 surety bond.

* Jamar Hunter, 33, 110 Maryland Ave., Charleston, was dismissed on a charge of violation of a protection order because the alleged victim failed to appear.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases July 26:

* Kilhon McNeil, 21, 4114 Alvada St., Columbus, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, fentanyl and suboxone, and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.

* Aaron Lewis, 22, 41414 Simcoe Drive, Canton, Ohio, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, fentanyl and marijuana, and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.

* Randi Patterson, 36, 618 Reed St., Apartment 3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of entering without breaking and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Ryan Perkins, 42, 124 Pine Ave., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of entering without breaking and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Dean Brenton, 35, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Austin Hendershot, 23, 2414 44th Place, Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charges of driving while suspended and expired motor vehicle inspection. He was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Dusty Dawson, 45, 206 Forest Way, Waverly, pleaded guilty to obstruction and was assessed $220.25 in court costs and fines.

* Justin Davis, 35, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Renee Maston, 27, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Janessa Woods, 35, 3554 Cherry Tree Road, Cherry Tree, Pa., was arraigned on charges of obstruction, disorderly conduct and public intoxication and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Justin Statler, 21, 402 1/2 Mullberry St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny and fleeing from an officer. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jerry Mundy, 28, 1800 Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstruction and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of public intoxication. He was assessed $220.25 in court costs and fines.

* Nichole Mollohan, 38, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jeremy Rister, 35, 1958 Cambridge Drive, Lexington, Ky., was dismissed on charges of speeding and child passenger safety device required.

* Tyler Hudson, 27, 808 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was dismissed without prejudice on a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle because the victim did not appear.

* Tristan Cumberledge, 35, Parkersburg, was given a guilty verdict on a charge of domestic battery and was sentenced to two years of probation, ordered to report at the Day Reporting Center for six months and was assessed $770.25 in court costs and fines.

* Peter Weiner, 66, 870 Murphy Town Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding 72 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone and was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

* Deborah Sims, 41, 229 Nova Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of worthless check and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Matthew Burga, 42, 1485 Hannah Road, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of battery and destruction of property and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Brandon Layman, 37, 628 Eighth St., Marietta, was arraigned on three counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, methamphetamine and heroin, and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Gabriella Marie Bradshaw, 24, 608 41st St., Vienna, was dismissed on a charge of driving while suspended or revoked because the citation is over a year old.

* Joseph Hescht, 39, 648 Sherwood Forest Drive, had probable cause found on a charge of strangulation of another without their consent; his case has been sent to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Candy Burke, 46, 35 Aqua Isle, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on two counts of manufacturing delivery or possession with intent to manufacture and deliver a controlled substance.

* Ryan Flanagan, 38, 487 Robin Hood Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of driving while suspended or revoked and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Rachel Staats, 45, 105 Laramie Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of permitting DUI and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Matthew Cornell, 35, 1417 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of aggravated DUI, no insurance, driving while suspended a third offense and failure to maintain control; he was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Michael Laurnoff, 55, 515 Sixth St., Apartment 6F, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Mary Williams, 57, homeless, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
