Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases July 18:

* Corrie Herman, 31, 201 Westwood Way, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent use of an access device and was released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Patrick Johnson, 33, 823 Stillwell Road, Walker, was arraigned on the charges of petit larceny, driving while suspended or revoked, improper registration, no insurance and a third offense shoplifting charge. He is being held at the North Central Regional Jail on an $8,000 surety bond.

* Eric Townsend, 39, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Chico Mason, 44, 1129 46th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while suspended or revoked and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Tabitha Dunn, 40, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to issuing worthless checks; she was assessed $180.25 in court costs and fines and was ordered to pay $297.83 in restitution.

* Lacole Dalrymple, 32, 126 Rubel Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while suspended or revoked and was assessed $270.25 in court costs and fines.

* Jeremy Crites, 43, 3948 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to speeding 51 miles-per-hour in a 35 miles-per-hour zone and was assessed $175.25 in court costs and fines.

* April Trippett, 26, 820 Lenore St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to the charges of fleeing and pettit larceny; as part of a plea agreement she was dismissed on a charge of obstruction and entry of a building other than a dwelling; she was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation and assessed $360.50 in court costs and fines. Trippett also waived her preliminary hearing on four counts of fraudulent use of an access device and those cases have been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Travis McCune II, 28, Vienna, was dismissed on a charge of domestic battery.

* Robert Aguilar, 22, 1609 32nd St., Parkersburg, was dismissed on a charge of disorderly conduct.

* Beth-Ann Wallbrown, 40, 2412 Covert St. Apartment 18, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription; as part of a plea agreement she was dismissed on two other counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. She was assessed $190.45 in court costs and fines.

* Stacy Carter, 20, 492 Trace Fork Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to the charges of petty larceny, shoplifting and embezzlement; she was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, assessed $520.75 in court costs and fines, ordered to pay $525.01 to the victims as restitution and was court ordered to pay a civil penalty of $778.30 to the victim of shoplifting.
