Wood County Circuit Court
PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases April 15-17:
In Judge Robert Waters’ Court:
* Steven Ronald Phillip Simons, 35, in custody, waived extradition back to Washington County, where he is wanted on the charges of aggravated drug trafficking, aggravated possession and possession of weapons while on disability. Before going to Washington County he must first post his $50,000 bond or resolve a West Virginia charge of possession with intent to deliver, methamphetamine.
* Andrew Leedy, 30, in custody, was found guilty in a plea on a charge of escape and was sentenced to three years in the West Virginia Department of Corrections.
In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:
* Harley Watson, 25, 905 Waverly Road, Williamstown, was found guilty in a plea on a charge of fleeing from officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference and was sentenced to three years probation.
* Dustin Lamp, 40, in custody, was found guilty in a plea on a charge of possession with intent to deliver, cocaine, and was sentenced to one to 15 years in the West Virginia Department of Corrections.
