Wood County Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases on March 15:

In Judge Robert Waters’s Court:

* Joshua Douglas Luffman, 38, of Lexington, N.C., pleaded guilty to sexual assault in the second degree and will be sentenced on May 15 at 1:30 p.m.

* Brandi McCroskey, 38, of Parkersburg, was found guilty per plea to fraudulent schemes and grand larceny. She was sentenced to three years probation with the condition of successfully completing Staggers recovery program.

In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:

* William Kerns, 34, in custody, pleaded guilty to count two, entering without breaking and will be sentenced on May 16 at 11 a.m.

* Lisa Duley, 48, in custody, entered an Alford plea to fraudulent use of an access device and will be sentenced on May 16 at 9 a.m.

* Robert Lemon, 45, of Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to register, failure to provide notice of registration changes and fraudulent use of an access device. He will be sentenced on May 16 at 9:30 a.m.

In Judge J.D. Beane’s Court:

* Bradley Hall Anderson, 28, at the North Central Regional Jail, was arraigned and has entered a plea of not guilty on charges of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference and obstructing an officer in December 2018. His trial will begin on May 29.

* Adriane Brooke Cochran, 23, of Parkersburg, was arraigned and has entered a plea of not guilty on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance from January 2019. Her trial will begin on July 23.

* William Paul Fluharty, 25, at NCRJ, was arraigned and has entered a plea of not guilty on charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny. His trial will begin on May 29.

* Anthoney Ray Leisure, 42, at NCRJ,was arraigned and has entered a plea of not guilty on a charge of second-offense delivery of a controlled substance. His trial will begin on May 8.

* Troy Justin Mowery, 27, at NCRJ, was arraigned and has entered a plea of not guilty on charges of burglary and attempted petit larceny. His trial will begin on May 29.
