Wood County Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases on March 8.

In Judge Robert Waters’ Court:

* Jeremy Adkins, 44, in custody, waived extradition to Washington County on a fugitive charge. He is wanted on a charge of failure to appear.

* Christopher O’Dell, 48, 4828 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was found guilty of uttering by information and was sentenced to one to 10 years with credit for 23 days at the West Virginia Department of Corrections.

In Judge Jason Wharton’s Court:

* Michael Morris, age unavailable, in custody, pleaded not guilty to five counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and his trial will begin on April 16.

* Carles Ward, 31, 9427 SR 329, Stewart, Ohio, was found guilty of delivery of a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the use of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years of probation.

In Judge J.D. Beane’s Court:

* Paul Allen Adkins, 36, in custody, was found guilty of conspiring to commit delivery of a controlled substance and was sentenced to five years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections.

* Eric Edgar, 34, in custody, was found guilty by a jury verdict of destruction of property and breaking and entering. He was sentenced to one year at the West Virginia Department of Corrections with credit for 157 days for destruction of property and one to 10 years with credit for 157 days at the West Virginia Department of Corrections for breaking and entering, to run consecutively.
