Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — On April 5 the following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court:
* Christopher Lee Cooper Jr., 32, 63 Delaware St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and obstructing an officer and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.
* Donald Paul Stephens, 49, 1312 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of prohibited person in possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.
* John Paul Montgomery, 60, 2391 Meadowview Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to a harassment charge, was sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for six months unsupervised probation and was assessed a fine and a civil penalty to the victim.
* A charge of domestic battery against Ryan Blair See, 33, Parkersburg, was dismissed with prejudice after the alleged victim failed to appear.

PARKERSBURG — On April 6 the following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court.
* Samantha Adella Reeseman, 22, 647 Wood St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of shoplifting less than $500 and four charges of petit larceny and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond from the shoplifting charge and $4,000 surety bond for the petit larceny charges.
* Laurel Phipps, 33, Decatur, Ill., was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Abel Jacob Sheers Trujillo III, 25, 114 Wildwood Drive, Apt. 102, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference and is in custody in lieu of a $10,000 surety bond.
* Tonya Lynn Baker, 43, 28005 Huckleberry Road, Coolville, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired and possession of less than 15 grams a controlled substance, marijuana, and was released on a $3,0000 personal recognizance bond with 10 percent cash.
* Charlotte Anne Johnson, 21, 1209 Wyatt Lane, Apt. 1, Belpre, pleaded not guilty to a charge of shoplifting and was assessed $160.25 in fines and court fees and a $50 civil penalty to the victim.
* Valerie S. Wiles, 48, 5841 Smith Road, Navarre, pleaded guilty to speeding citation, 81 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court fees.
* Kenneth M. James, 48, 11 Geraint Road, Charleston, pleaded guilty to a speeding citation, 84 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court fees.
* Peter Lizon, 43, 1235 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of expired registration and expired motor vehicle inspection and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* A charge of third-offense domestic battery against Holly Marie Mabry, 46, Williamstown, was dismissed without prejudice because the alleged victim did not want to prosecute the case and gave a different set of facts as to what happened as alleged in the complaint.
