Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — On April 13 the Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports:

* R. Dwain Wilcox, 77, 2203 Capitol Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of worthless check and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Shawn M. Bailey, 22, Rock Run Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to a charge of first-offense DUI, was sentenced to seven hours and 59 minutes served and was assessed $195.25 in fines and court fees.

* Christopher M. Sims, 44, 327 Walker Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Kevin J. Douglas, 40, 917 W. Second St., Owensboro, Ky., was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $500 surety bond.

* Ralph Edward Jones, 26, 4012 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on an obstructing an officer charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Randall Lee Walker, 37, 2426 Parker Ave., Apt. 7, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault, brandishing and domestic battery and was released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Daniel Trevor Dewitt, 35, 2989 Dutch Ridge Road, Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a battery charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jeffrey Neal Smith, 36, 166 Valentine Farm Road, Elizabeth, pleaded no contest for a shoplifting charge and was assessed $175.25 in fines and court fees and a civil penalty of $169.98 to the victim. He also pleaded no contest to a no insurance citation and was assessed $360.25 in fines and court fees.

* Justin Bruce Ketterman, 30, 151 Highland Lake Terrace, Washington, W.Va., waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of grand larceny and was bound over to circuit court.

* Ryan P. Wolfe, 28, 708 Highland Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to an embezzlement charge, was sentenced to six months in jail suspended for one year unsupervised probation and was assessed $160.25 in fines and court fees.

* Mitchell Allan Edwards, 34, 4 Tonya Ave., Parkersburg, waived preliminary hearings for charges of use or presentation of a firearm and malicious or unlawful assault and was bound over to the grand jury.

* Larry D. Corns, 44, 157 Dickens Drive, Apt. 1, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to charges of Sunday hunting and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of .15 or less, was sentenced to 48 hours in jail for the DUI charge and was assessed $635.50 in fines and court fees.
