Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG –On March 21 the Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports:

* Sherry Francis, 40, 71 Riverview Drive, Apt. 508, Belmont, pleaded guilty to a shoplifting charge and was assessed $180.25 in fines and court fees and a civil penalty of $89.52 to the victim.

* Tina Annette Pinkerton, 40, 299 Captain Ames Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation and was assessed $340.50 in fines and court fees.

* Jessica Lynn Miller, 32, 194 Viscose St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and was assessed $210.25 in fines and court fees.

* Alphrin Arnett Norman Jr., 23, 1014 Swann St., Apt. 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a DNR citation for fishing without a license and was assessed $180.25 in fines and court fees.

* Thomas William Dearth, 25, 785 Bender Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to charges of accessory after the fact to the transportation of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for use of a controlled substance, was sentenced to one year served for the accessory charge and 12 days served for the dwelling charge and was assessed $320.50 in fines and court fees.

* David Lee Wright, 69, 48 Lantern St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of alcohol sale to minors and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jo Anne Holley, 50, 38 Lexington Park Drive, Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of selling alcohol to a minor and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court fees.

* Tiffany Marie Coak, 34, 205 Tiffany Lane, Elizabeth, waived a preliminary hearing on a possession with intent to deliver charge and was bound over to circuit court.

* Brandy Lynn Goodwin, 43, 201 Rail Trail Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on a citation for a charge of selling alcohol to a minor and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Daniel Stephen Canterbury, 19, 1100 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned in Wood County for Tucker County on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance into a correctional facility and is in custody in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond.

* William Davis Gillispie, 45, 312 Henderson Ave., South Charleston, pleaded guilty to a citation for driving too fast for roadway conditions and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court fees.

* John Boggs, 38, 81 Ashton St., Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to a charge of crossing the median while driving and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees.

* Cynthia Dawn Hardman, 42, 132 Woodland Circle, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to a citation for expired registration and expired motor vehicle inspection and was assessed $335.50 in fines and court fees.
