Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — On Feb. 23 the following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court.

* Mitchell Allan Edwards, 34, 4 Tonya Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of malicious assault and brandishing and was released on a $200,000 surety bond.

* Rivard Dwain Wilcox, 77, 2203 Capitol Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a battery charge and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Angela Marie Burkhammer, 30, 65 Crisfield St., Anmoore, W.Va., was arraigned in Harrison County for Wood County on a charge of animal cruelty and was released on a $5,000 bond.

* Jeremy Lee Friend, 32, 3022 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver heroin and is in custody in lieu of a $200,000 bond.

* Russell Charles Buskirk, 38, 1403 41st St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a worthless check charge and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Wilbert Wayne Bleigh, 58, 2521 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of making obscene telephone calls, was sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for one year unsupervised probation and was assessed $160.25 in court fees.

* Heather Dawn Drain, 34, 1976 Flaggy Meadow Road, Mannington, pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees.

* Corey Lewis Garlock, 25, 1720 Forest Hills Drive, Vienna, pleaded guilty to a driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons citation and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees.

* Allen Andre Workman, 35, 604 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, was bound over to circuit court after probable cause was found for a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

* Jason Anthony Deleo, 25, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-offense shoplifting, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees and a civil penalty of $360 paid directly to the victim.

* Jerad C. Kirk, 19, 2314 Highland Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a speeding citation, 79 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court fees.

* James Edward Cook Jr., 38, 33 Power Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of less than 15 grams of a controlled substance, marijuana, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for one year probation. He also pleaded guilty to two worthless check charges and was assessed $841.27 in fines, restitution and court fees.

* Dustin Wayne Nutter, 35, 1502 Division St. Ext., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to a shoplifting charge and was assessed $175.25 in fines and court fees and a civil penalty of $170 paid directly to the victim.

* William Douglas Shepherd Jr., 35, 2324 Carpenters Run Road, Apt. A, Waverly, pleaded guilty to charges of shoplifting and driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court fees and a civil penalty of $252.68 paid directly to the victim.

* Benjamin R. Coffman, 40, 1007 Florence St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to a shoplifting charge, was sentenced to six months in jail suspended for one year unsupervised probation and was assessed $660.25 in fines and court fees and $1,539.98 civil penalty paid directly to the victim. He also pleaded guilty to charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription. He was sentenced to a concurrent sentence with the shoplifting charge and was assessed $512.93 in fines, restitution and court fees.

* James Leon Fordyce II, 28, 1912 Gladstone St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to expired registration and no proof of insurance and was assessed $525.50 in fines and court fees.

* Skyler Michellel Nomar, 26, 1112 Barton St., Charleston, pleaded no contest to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court fees.

PARKERSBURG — On Feb. 24 the following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court.

* Samuel Eugene Miller, 23, 85 Sandy Creek Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a false pretenses charge and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond with 10 percent cash.

* Scott Charles Baker II, 23, 1409 Fifth St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of first-offense domestic battery, was sentenced to 10 days served and was assessed $160.25 in court fees.

* William Lewis Dennis, 41, 40 King’s Row Trailer Court, Lot 29, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of fishing without a license and was assessed $180.25 in fines and court fees.

* Allen Andre Workman, 25, 604 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Mistie Renae Gribble, 43, 915 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of giving, selling or furnishing alcohol to an underage person and was released on a $500 bond. She was also arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and no proof of insurance and was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Gary Edmund McMahan, 67, 1805 Meldahl Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of permitting fire to escape and burning when prohibited and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jody Lee Buskirk, 47, 6 Tonya Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-degree robbery and malicious wounding and is in custody in lieu of a $150,000 bond.

* Donald Eugene Buckbee, 49, 80 S. Parkview Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to an indecent exposure charge, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 24 days served and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court fees.

* Adam Corey Abbott, 27, 2602 Broad St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a DUI charge and is in custody in lieu of a $500 bond.

* Dillon G. Williams, 24, 1620 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of less than 15 grams of a controlled substance, marijuana, and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Dennis Wayne Kelley, 46, 1191 Horseneck Road, Waverly, was arraigned on a DUI charge and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jeremy M. Charlton, 36, 1314 10th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a domestic assault charge and was released on a $500 bond.
