Wood County Magistrate Court

PARKERSBURG – The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 10:

* Bobby Ray Griffin, 32, 47770 Ohio 248, Long Bottom, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct and was released on $1,000 bond.

* William Ray Booth, 35, 75262 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, was arraigned on a driving under suspension charge and was released on $500 bond.

* David Allen Sayres, 49, 618 Reed St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and littering less than 500 pounds and was released on $600 bond.

* Michael Shawn Mills, 28, 2801 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident and was released on $600 bond.

* Stewart Johnson Powderly, 27, 1908 42nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a DUI charge and was released on $500 bond.

* Ciara Annette Martinez, 34, 1312 15th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of joyriding and petit larceny and was released on $1,500 bond.

* David Francis Toncray Jr., 29, P.O. Box 155, Tuppers Plains, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of DUI, driving under suspension and four worthless check counts and was released on $1,800 bond.

* Dale Anthony Weaver, 38, 1402 Covert St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and was released on $500 bond.

* Gregory Allen Berry II, 42, 5022 1/2 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony charge of attempted burglary and a misdemeanor charge of destruction of property and was released on $10,500 bond.

* Amber R. Fraley, 35, 260 Lincoln Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to registration violation and was assessed $180.25 in fines and court costs.

* Marion L. Hopkins, 52, 1206 George St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court costs.

* Ruth Esther Paulk, 36, 915 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to false pretense, was sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $160.25 in court costs.

* Tiffany Diana Wheaton, 23, 45 Ruby Drive, Davisville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $273.24 in fines, court costs and restitution. She also pleaded guilty to petit larceny, was sentenced to 15 days in jail and was assessed $329.25 in court costs and restitution.

* Stephen James Bartlett, 29, 39 Cedar Lane, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to DUI, was sentenced to time served and was assessed $420.25 in fines and court costs.

* James Thomas Childress, 51, 2401 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court costs.

* Ryan D. Deem, 32, 215 Florence St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to battery, was sentenced to six months in jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $3,246.25 in court costs and restitution.

* Alex D. Moore, 22, 611 Reed St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $316.75 in fines, court costs and restitution.

* Jamaal Alexander Stokes, 23, 1215 30th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing in a vehicle, was sentenced to 30 days home confinement and was assessed $160.25 in court costs.

* Jessica Barbe, 24, 42 Lexington Park Drive, Vienna, pleaded guilty to failure to stop or yield and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court costs. She also pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court costs.

PARKERSBURG -?The following cases were handled Nov. 5 in Wood County Magistrate Court:

* Zachery Ray Burdeth, 18, 2288 Eli Locust Road, Washington, was released on $500 bond for a charge of obstruction.

* Richard Lynn Looney, 61, 3806 7th Ave., Vienna, pleaded no contest to DUI and fined $335.25.

* Phillip Betts, 26, 169 Monongahela Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to unlawfully passing a school bus, fined $360.25, placed on six months of unsupervised probation and ordered to do 40 hours of community service as a crossing guard.

* Timothy Lee Baum, 26, 1217 30th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI and fined $335.25.

* Joshua Burns, 27, 400 53rd St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding, having no proof of insurance and fined $165.25.

* Angel Beth Jackson, 32, 207Florence St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $363.25.

* Tanner P. Morgan, 20, 38 Mitchells Way, Washington, pleaded guilty to intimidation of a witness, fined $160.25 and placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Brandi Lea Hart, 22, 705 Hall St. Apt. 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $332.25

* Matthew Scott Munching, 26, 137 Ryanwood Village, Parkersburg, was released on $500 bond for shoplifting.
