Wood Circuit Court
PARKERSBURG – The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on June 10:
* Ronald Edward Jarvis, 36, of Williamstown pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of burglary. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 8. He was indicted March 5 on one count each of burglary and grand larceny.
* April Nichole Calvert, 28, of Marietta was sentenced Tuesday on a forgery charge to serve a sentence concurrent to a sentence she is serving in Ohio. She was assessed court costs and may be assessed restitution, according to court records.
She was indicted Jan. 17 on three counts each of forgery and uttering.

PARKERSBURG – A plea and a sentencing were heard in Wood County Circuit Court Thursday.
* Sir Michael Williams, 24, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was sentenced after returning from a 60-day diagnostic program. He pleaded guilty to charges of fraudulent use of an access device and an information charging him with fraudulent scheme. Judge J.D. Beane sentenced him to the Anthony Center for six months to two years.
* Claude Lonnie Slate III, 20, 615 Pike St., Parkersburg, entered an agreement to plead guilty to an information charging him with destruction of property. He was referred to adult probation for a presentencing investigation. His sentencing was set for 11 a.m. Aug. 18.
