PARKERSBURG – The following case appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on June 16:
* Roland Tyler Williams Jr., 59, of Parkersburg was sentenced Monday on a third-offense charge of driving under the influence.
He was sentenced to one to three years in prison with credit for time served, with the sentence suspended for home confinement. He was also fined $3,000 and assessed court costs and attorney fees.
An information containing the charge was filed against Williams on March 19 and he entered a guilty plea on April 7.
PARKERSBURG – The following case appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on June 2:
* Jack Lee Poland, 46, of Parkersburg pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of conspiracy to operate or attempt to operate a clandestine drug laboratory. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 13.
Poland was indicted March 7, 2013, on charges of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, conspiracy to operate or attempt to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of substances to be used as precursors to manufacture methamphetamine.
