Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on Sept. 10.

* Jose Rodriguez, 32, 836 Pike St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and no insurance; he was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Yeimy Matamoras-Acosta, 21, 1 Camelot Drive, Apartment 44, Parkersburg, was indicted on the charges of driving while impaired and no license. His case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Bradley Chaffin, 40, 41100 13th Ave., Parkersburg, waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of manufacturing, delivery or possession with the intent to manufacture and deliver a controlled substance and receiving or transferring stolen property. His case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

* Bryan Taylor, 44, 1427 30th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to hit and run with property damage and unsigned registration card. As part of a plea agreement he was dismissed on a charge of no insurance and no operator’s. He was sentenced to 40 days of probation, assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines and ordered to pay $430 in restitution to the victim.

* James Wallbrown, 31, homeless, was arraigned on a charge of possession and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on a charge of battery. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

* Joshua Saul, 27, 512 Nancy St., Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

* David Adams, 48, 66 Wildwood Heights Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstruction and as part of a plea agreement was dismissed on the second charge of obstruction. He was assessed $420.25 in court costs and fines.

* Mark Ward, 44, 1131 1/2 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a second offense shoplifting charge; he was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines and ordered to pay a $97.32 civil penalty to the victim.

* Allen Deam, 47, 1821 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to the charges of receiving or transferring stolen goods and petit larceny. He was sentenced to 90 days of unsupervised probation, assessed $340.50 in court costs and fines and ordered to pay $600 in restitution.

* Richard Duggan, 42, 2116 12th Ave., Parkersburg, waived his preliminary hearing on the charges of entering a building other than a dwelling and gross neglect of a child creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. His case has been bound over to Wood County Circuit Court for grand jury consideration.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Sept. 10:

* On Sept. 7, Estefania Rueda Alvarado, 27, of Trappers Place, Charleston, was arrested on a charge of aggravated DUI.

* On Sept. 8, Eric Ryan Bonar, 38, of Sherwood Forest Drive, was cited on a charge of open burning of refuse.

* On Sept. 9, Jose Adamian Delcid-Rodriguez, 32, of Pike Street, Marietta, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and no insurance.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Sept. 9:

* On Sept. 3, Sgt. Reeder responded to Schau Road, Adams Township, to meet with an employee of Highland Ridge Water, regarding theft of services. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 3, Deputy Hall responded to 10915 State Route 550, Vincent, in reference to William Hall reporting Mark Moyers trespassed on his property. Hall had taken photos of Moyers weed eating and they do show Moyers weed eating along Hall’s fence, which is over the property line. Deputy White later met with Moyers, who denied being on Hall’s property. A summons is being requested for Mark B. Moyers, 36, 10965 State Route 550, Vincent, for criminal trespassing.

* On Sept. 3, Lt. Hunter began an investigation in reference to a subject being scammed out of money through Facebook Marketplace. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 3, Deputy Zide was dispatched to Hazelwood Drive, Marietta,in reference to a loose dog in that area getting into the trash. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 3, Deputy Brown met with Walter Griffin, Marietta, in reference to a missing item from his residence. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 4, Lt. Augenstein responded to meet with a Leslie Lunsford who reported her license plate missing. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 5, Deputy McKee responded to Poinciana Street, Newport, to a report of Stacy Yvette Lee breaking a window out at that residence. Lee had left the area prior to Deputy McKee’s arrival. After completing the investigation, Deputy McKee placed Lee, 48, 615 River Road, Marietta, under arrest for aggravated menacing and criminal damaging.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday:

* Cynthia Kay Dailey, 45, 615 East Montgomery Street, Lot 17, Marietta probation violation, a misdemeanor.

* Levi Harrison Reynolds, 25, 4755 Veto Road, Vincent, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

* Dirk Edward Filon, 35, 120 Wells Avenue, Marietta, probation violation, a felony.

* Carrie Sue Britton, 33, Marietta, contempt of court, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

* Aaron J. Matthew Huseman, 32, Marietta, domestic violence, a felony.

* David Allen Butler, 39, Marietta, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

* Cory Everett Meeks, 34, 20125 State Route 550, Marietta, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

* Courtney Nicole Anderson, 29, homeless, driving under suspension, failure to display, fictitious plates, drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.

* Christopher Freemont Knox, 48, Charleston, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

* Elizabeth Riley Mockler, 23, 379 State Route 266, Stockport, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

* Jennifer Kae Mosser, 39, homeless, aggravated menacing, and violation of a temporary protection order, both misdemeanors.

* Nathan Scott Tewkesbury, 34, 521 Barclay Street, Apt. 15, Belpre, petty theft, a misdemeanor.

* Charles David Amore, 36, 645 Congress Road, Belpre, driving under suspension, and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

* Noble Isaac Gibson III, 39, homeless, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

PARKERSBURG — Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Sept. 10:

* On Sept. 9, the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 127 calls for service.

* On Sept. 9, officers responded to SW Resources in reference to a counterfeit bill.

* On Sept. 9, officers responded to Kemper Street in reference to a possible burglary that already occurred.

* On Sept. 9, officers responded to Lake Hills Court in reference to a theft.

* O Sept. 9, officers responded to PPD Headquarters in reference to a larceny.

* On Sept. 9, officers responded to Lenore Street in reference to a possible burglary attempt.

* On Sept. 9, officers responded to six motor vehicle accident.
