Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court Aug. 26:

* Erica Christine Thompson, 29, 910 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of second-offense shoplifting and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Khara Nicole Hicks, 38, 925 Juliana St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Michael Ray Sulsberger Jr., 43, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and bond was set at $10,000 surety.

* Rae Lynn Burdette, 48, 646 Thomas Road, St. Albans, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Tricia Ann Martin, 34, care of 708 Front St., Apt. 19, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and third-offense driving on a suspended license, as well as a fugitive from justice warrant. Bond was set at $1,000 surety for the other two counts, but she was held without bond on the fugitive charge.

* Kelly May Brown, 55, 3070 Haddox Run Road, Pennsboro, was arraigned on a charge of no proof of insurance and released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Richard Brewster Mollohan, 32, 800 15th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Chasity Marie Bland, 40, 25 Lawnsdale Road, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense shoplifting and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Hueston Lee Kellar, 30, 526 Hyview Terrace, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of malicious assault and released on a $20,000 surety bond.

* Daniel L. Whittle, 48, 1080 Sandhill Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of boating under the influence and released on a $2,500 bond.

* Paul Joe Brown, 47, 438 Victoria Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Robert Jarrod McCoy, 44, 106 W. Fay Ave., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and a fugitive from justice warrant. Bond was set at $500 on the possession charge, but he was held without bond on the fugitive count.

* Truman Smith, 50, 844 Green St. Apt.1, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of fishing without a license and was released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Kaitlin Pryor, 25, 1403 Broadway Ave. Apt. 4, Parkersburg was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Destiny Brooks Gill, 32, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1500 surety bond.

* Isaac Wade Matthews, 18, 48 Thorn St., Parkesrsburg, was arraigned on charges of first degree robbery and posession of firearm during commission of a felony and conspiracy to committ robbery. No bond has currenlty been set.

* Gary Wayne Paris Jr., 47, 4129 13th Ave., Parkesrburg, was arraigned on charges of driving without insurance, improper registration, failure to maintain control and expired motor vehicle inspection and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jason Gordon Wiseman, 39, of 155 Leachtown Lane, Walker, was arraigned on charges of no insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked licence and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Joshua Daniel Parker, 32, of 11638 Staunton Tpke, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and bond was set at $2,500 personal recognizance.

* Kevin Josesph Kuhl, 34, of 105 Front St., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of driving under the influence and was released on a $2500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kimberly Milligan, 20, of 640 Bird St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving without insurance and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Katherine Wilcox, 28, of 2068 Club Dr., Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of driving with a suspsended license and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Lawrence Martin Brown, 31, 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and was assessed $270.25 in fines and court costs.

* Brian Keith Heckert Jr., 48, 509 29th St., Parkersburg, had a destruction of property charge dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports on Aug. 27:

* Rae Burdette, 48 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 26 for obstructing and disorderly conduct.

* Brandon Sexson, 32 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 26 for public intoxication; shoplifting; trespassing and failure to appear.

* Jaclyn Kerns, 38 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 26 on a capias for failure to appear.

* Donald Campbell, 40 of Parkersburg was arrested on Aug. 26 for third-offense driving suspended; possession of a controlled substance and no insurance.

* On Aug. 26, officers responded to two motor vehicle accidents.
