Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Circuit Court heard the following cases July 11.

In Judge Robert Waters’ Court:

* Ronnie Lockhart, 25, in custody, was found guilty on a plea to a charge of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and was sentenced to one to five years at the West Virginia Department of Corrections with credit for 274 days.

* Mark Ward, 44, in custody, pleaded not guilty to the charges of entering without breaking, obstruction and fleeing on foot; his trial will begin Sept. 4.

* Joseph Antill, 42, in custody, waived extradition back to Washington County where he is wanted on a charge of committing assault.

* David West, 37, in custody, waived extradition back to Washington County and will be remanded to them following resolve of a pending felony charge in West Virginia. He is wanted on a charge of failure to appear.

* Nathaniel Farley, 24, in custody, pleaded guilty to the charges of burglary, count one; driving under the influence of a controlled substance, count three; fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference, count four; and escape, count eight. His sentencing is set for Sept. 11.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases July 11.

* Laron Fuller, 37, 29 Westview Way, Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, heroin, and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 surety bond.

* Walter Jerry Carroll Jr., 37, 1334 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of the forgery of checks and was being held at the North Central Regional Jail on a $30,000 surety bond.

* Douglas Deem, 41, 265 New England Ridge Road, Washington, was arraigned on the charges of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jarron Farnsworth, 31, 803 West Fourth St., Williamstown, was arraigned on the charges of expired registration and expired motor vehicle inspection and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Erin Duvall, 20, 527 Ellis Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and marijuana, and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

PARKERSBURG — Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports July 8:

* From July 5-7, the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 270 calls for service.

* Angelo Martinovich, 42, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a charge of indecent exposure.

* Alan Philpott, 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a battery charge.

* Kevin Wilson Sr., 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a capias for failure to appear.

* Jason Winters, 23, of Wilmington, N.C., was arrested July 5 on charges of battery, obstructing and shoplifting.

* Suetaraha Wilson, 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a warrant for four counts of worthless checks.

* Jeremy McConnell, 37, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on charges of public intoxication, illegal possession of alcohol and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and a capias warrant for failure to appear.

* April Trippett, 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a felony warrant for four counts of fraud and a capias warrant for breaking and entering and petit larceny.

* Troy Knopp, 45, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 5 on a capias warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of firearm by prohibited person and miscellaneous traffic violations.

* Leann Dickey, 32, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 6 on charges of obstructing and shoplifting.

* Vicky Marks, 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 6 on a shoplifting charge.

* Larry Eplin, 39, of Kentucky, was arrested July 6 on a shoplifting charge.

* Katherine Harbison, 23, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a destruction of property charge.

* Christopher Hopkins, 37, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

* Mark Ward, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a warrant for breaking and entering and on a felony indictment charge.

* Joshua Whitlock, 35, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a bench warrant for possession with intent.

* Sergio Ceballos-Duran, 47, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a warrant for two counts of violation of a domestic violence protection order.

* Jeremy Alger, 29, of Parkersburg, was arrested July 7 on a shoplifting charge.

* On July 7, officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting and cited Ryan Williams.

* On July 7, officers responded to Go-Mart in reference to a welfare check and cited Roger Miller for possession of a controlled substance.

* On July 7, Vickie Cain reported a petit larceny.

* On July 7, officers responded to the area of Staunton Avenue in reference to an abandoned vehicle.

* On July 7, officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting and cited Jeremy Alger.

* On July 7, officers responded to Pike Street in reference to a vehicle tampering.

* On July 6, Zachary Knicely reported an auto larceny.

* On July 6, Joseph Walker reported a burglary.

* On July 6, officers responded to 7-Eleven in reference to a battery and shoplifting which already occurred.

* On July 6, officers responded to Kroger in reference to a shoplifting.

* On July 6, Larry Walker reported a missing person.

* On July 6, Jamie Pierce reported a stolen license plate.

* On July 6, Amanda Cornell reported an attempted burglary.

* On July 6, officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting and cited Larry Eplin.

* On July 5, Alex Murdoch reported a storage locker entered.

* On July 5, Wood County Technical Center reported a breaking and entering.

* On July 5, Kathy Smith reported a destruction of property.

* Between July 5-7, officers responded to six motor vehicle accidents.

* Jeremiah Lyons, 37, of Parkersburg, was arrested for person prohibited from possessing firearms and possession of controlled substance.

* Douglas C. Deem, 40, of Washington, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of controlled substance.

* Nathan Davis was cited for possession of controlled substance and two bicycle violations.

* Officers responded to Hugh Street in reference to a possible domestic.

* Officers responded to the area of Latrobe Street in reference to a possible assault.

* Kenneth Holbert reported a burglary.

* Officers responded to the area of Ann Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle where Buddy Green was cited for disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance.
