Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports July 8:

* Nathan Joseph Hughes, 41, care of 1037 Pinewood Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and released on a $5,000 bond. He allegedly entered a home in the 1600 block of Rosemar Road without permission Sunday and brandished a large knife at a resident.

* James Brindo, 40, care of 78 Spencer Lane, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on a $5,000 bond.

* Jessica Marie Garcia, 27, of Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Timothy Jon Knotts, 52, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts each of violation of a protective order and obstructing and one count each of domestic assault, fleeing on foot, destruction of property and battery of an officer and bond was set at $8,000 surety.

* Sergio N. Ceballos-Duran, 47, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Alan Keith Philpot Jr., 28, 1403 Broadway Ave., was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $500 bond.

* Patrick Lee Reisinger, 35, of Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 bond.

* Joshua Edward Whitlock, 35, care of 1400 41st St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, with intent to deliver and bond was set at $45,000 surety.

* Jonathon Dillon Cayton, 23, care of 805 25th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of fleeing, two counts of burglary and one count each of shoplifting and obstructing and bond was set at $52,500 surety.

* Jeremy Dean McConnell, 37, care of 852 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, heroin and methamphetamine, and one count of public intoxication and bond was set at $1,100.

* Kevin Lee Wilson, 28, 1118 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to appear for a misdemeanor and bond was set at $200 surety.

* Michael Paul Hamilton, 22, 1318 Dillaway St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, public intoxication and obstructing and bond was set at $5,000.

* Arthur Joseph Carr, 31, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and released on a $500 surety bond. He allegedly rammed his vehicle into his girlfriend’s repeatedly during a dispute while their 1-year-old child was in the girlfriend’s car.

* Markus McKinley Johnson, 28, 1240 Hurshers Run Road, Pennsboro, was arraigned on charges of altering or changing a manufacturer’s serial number in a vehicle, no/improper registration, left of center, no insurance, driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 bond.

* A 17-year-old Parkersburg resident was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and no motor vehicle inspection and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Destry Shane Todd, 29, 2915 Layman Road, Vincent, was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence of a drug, driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and bond was set at $3,000.

* Jason Alexander Winters, 23, homeless, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, obstructing and shoplifting and bond was set at $1,100 surety.

* Leann Maureen Dickey, 32, 37 Westview Way, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-offense shoplifting and obstructing and released on a $500 surety bond.

* April Michelle Trippett, 26, 820 Lenore St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on four counts of fraudulent use of an access device and bond was set at $20,000 surety.

* Katherine Arnetta Jean Harbison, 23, 1710 Park St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and bond was set at $1,000 surety.

* Angelo Thomas Martinovich, 42, 1704¢ 20th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense indecent exposure and bond was set at $500 surety.

* Matthew Vernon Scott, 33, 607 Cherry Ave., Apt. B, Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license, obstructing and possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and released on a $1,100 surety bond.

* Justin Allen Posey, 26, 172 South Sixth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property, obstructing, fleeing on foot and shoplifting and bond was set at $1,100 surety.

* James Thomas Valentine, 53, 2500 Lincoln Ave. #1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Andrew James Dimitroff, 29, 170 Greenbrier Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to brandishing and was assessed $220.25 in fines and court costs.

* Andrew Martin Hopkins, 56, 635 Hill St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of receiving/transferring stolen property and driving under suspension and was released on $1,500 bond.

* Zachary Alexander Bailey, 26, 3104 Spider Ridge Road, was arraigned on a breaking and entering charge and bond was set at $30,000.

* Bryan Keith Taylor, 44, 1500 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of no operator’s license, hit and run with property damage, no insurance and no proof of registration and was released on $2,000 bond.

* George D. Carpenter, 31, 3603 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to no motor vehicle inspection and was assessed $175.25 in fines and court costs.

* Justin Andrew Beardsley, 31, 800 Seventh St., Parkersburg, waived preliminary hearings on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and possession of a detonation device and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court. His bond was reduced from $35,000 cash to $25,000 surety and he was released on bond.

* Aleisha Morgan Ashwell, 29, 2327 Cypress St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on five counts of fraudulent use of an access device and bond was set at $25,000.

* John Charles Gibson, 75, 1004 Blennerhassett Ave., Belpre, was arraigned on charges of no navigation lights and littering and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Mark Aaron Ward, 44, 1131 1/2 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering and second-offense shoplifting and bond was set at $51,000.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports July 8:

* On July 3, Sgt. McGilton filed for a summons for Russell Burkhammer, 1023 Third Street, Marietta, on a charge of failing to obtain a dangerous dog registration. On May 22, a dog belonging to Burkhammer bit an individual. The incident was unprovoked and as a result, Burkhammer’s dog was designated dangerous. Burkhammer was provided with all paperwork to contest and comply with the designation, however, failed to do so. As of July 2, Burkhammer still had not registered his dog as dangerous nor had he complied with other requirements for housing a dangerous dog.

* On July 3, Sgt. Reeder began an investigation at Sherlock Oil, State Route 60, Beverly, regarding a breaking and entering. This case remains under investigation.

* On July 4, Deputy Hall responded to 25005 State Route 26, New Matamoras, regarding an altercation with Jessica Bellville and Douglas Bellville. Jessica reported the two were arguing on the phone and when Douglas returned home from work he packed some items and attempted to leave. Jessica stated that Douglas had her phone and she was attempting to stop him from leaving. In speaking with Douglas, he gave the same account of the incident between himself and Jessica. After speaking with both parties it was determined that a summons would be requested for Douglas E. Bellville, 37, and Jessica M. Bellville, 38, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

* On July 4, at approximately 6:15 a.m., Deputy Carr was dispatched to Main Street, Waterford, in reference to a naked female running down the street yelling. Deputy Carr observed the female speaking with EMS personnel. The female appeared to be agitated and under the influence of an unknown substance. The female refused to give any information to assist in identifying her or where she resides. As a result, the female was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of public indecency and disorderly conduct. The female was later identified as Elizabeth Riley Mockler, 23, 1028 W. 12th Street, Lorain, Ohio.

* On July 5, deputies were dispatched to 419 Fifth Street, Beverly, to a report of a robbery at that location. This case remains under investigation at this time.

* On July 5, at approximately 3:40 a.m., Deputy White was dispatched to meet with two individuals who were involved in an incident with a male subject who was threatening them with a gun. Alexis Felton and Justin Wolfe reported being at a residence on Rummer Road, Marietta,for a cookout, and to watch fireworks for the evening. After the party was over, and all other residents went to bed, Felton and Wolfe took Jack Alvarez to his residence at 200 Rummer Road, to fill up a cooler. After Alvarez filled up the cooler they drove back to the other Rummer Road residence. Felton and Wolfe let Alvarez out of the vehicle and parked next to a barn, and Alvarez’s truck. Felton and Wolfe stayed in their vehicle for a little while and Alvarez showed back up at the vehicle and fired a pistol twice at the ground towards the vehicle. They further stated that Alvarez leaned into the vehicle from the rear driver side window and pointed the pistol at them. Alvarez continued to point the gun at both Felton and Wolfe stating he was going to shoot Wolf. Both Felton and Wolfe stated that Alvarez appeared very incoherent and made numerous nonsensical statements. Felton and Wolfe stated they believed Alvarez fired the gun at least three or four times into the air, and straight into the ground. They stated that Alvarez then walked away into the woods and they drove to town to report the incident. Deputies were able to locate Jack Alvarez at 200 Rummer Road, covered in mud and sweat. Alvarez did not recall the incident with Wolfe and Felton but stated he may have had a gun at one point. Jack William Alvarez, 31, 200 Rummer Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest for aggravated menacing and using weapons while intoxicated.

* On July 6, at approximately 11:54 p.m., Deputy Parks was dispatched to 13228 State Route 555, Cutler, to a report of Rodney Hill asking to have 911 called due to him believing several individuals were surrounding the house and had either broken into the residence or were about to break in. Hill had residents hide while they were calling 911. Hill then spoke with a dispatcher and advised someone pulled into the driveway and two people rang the doorbell. Hill stated he overheard a conversation about Hill having guns inside the residence. Hill continued to hear noises in and around the residence. Upon deputies arriving Hill came outside and the residence was cleared with no one found inside or around the residence that was not supposed to be there. No signs of foul play were found at the residence as was suggested by Hill. Hill continued to insist there were individuals inside his residence. Hill continued to have very erratic speech during this entire incident, and at one point could be heard screaming at his grandmother, using explicit language advising her to hang up the phone. Rodney Dakota Hill, 18, was placed under arrest for making false alarms and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

* On July 6, Deputy Young responded to Lauer Road, Liberty Township, to a report of a gas well fire. The Salem Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched as well.

* On July 6, deputies were dispatched to 100 Fifth Street, Beverly, to a report of a robbery at that location. This case remains under investigation at this time.

* On July 6, Sgt. Holbert responded to 9261 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, to a report of a male possibly injured with a handmade explosive. This case remains under investigation.

* LeRoy Junior Clark, 44, 205 Gibbons Place, Marietta, probation violation, a misdemeanor, and aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

* Anthony Emery Tripke, 21, 533 Fourth Street, Marietta, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

* Sarah Louanna Julia Moreno, 25, 818 Chestnut Street, Apt. A, South Charleston, W.Va., improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony, possession of marijuana, speed and failure to use a child restraint, misdemeanors.

* Brandon Cornell Bush, 30, 15039 Mayfield Street, Detroit, Mich., obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

* Brandon Christopher Solomon, 24, 19 Amandaville Court, St. Albans, W.Va., having weapons while under disability, a felony, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

* Darian Jo Lake, 23, 13685 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, violating a protector order, a misdemeanor.

* Onacey Acevedo, 40, 317 Smithson Street, Dexter City, Ohio, disorderly conduct, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, no operator’s license and failure to control, all misdemeanors.

* Christopher Jerome Long, 19, 3609 Main Street, Lower Salem, obstructing official business and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

* Shawn Rene Jones, 50, 4008 Baker Street, Durham, N.C., driving under suspension and speed, both misdemeanors.

* Dreama Faye Hammack, 57, 4382 Midway Road, Sumerco, W.Va., driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and left of center, both misdemeanors.

* George Michael Cornell, 35, 5850 Marra Drive, Bedford Heights, Ohio, driving under suspension and speed, both misdemeanors.
